Hello here, it's been a while, huh? Well here is an update for you guys for all the love you are showing Maryam. This chapter is dedicated to my lovely sister Ihsan (Fatima) as she requested for an update yesterday 😊 So here it is for you my darling, enjoy ❤️

It's three days since Abdulrahman and Baba Ali's return and everything was going well. Abdulrahman tried as much as possible to keep his worries away whenever he is talking with Maryam so she doesn't have an ounce of idea on what is really going on with him and his family. Baba Ali was feeling sick but he thought it's just a mere fever resulting from all the stress they have been through the past few days, but what he thought to be a simple fever was more. His health was deteriorating everyday and he has to be admitted in the hospital. It's been a week since he has been there and Abdulrahman was more than worried about his grand uncle's health. He visits him everyday twice, when he is leaving for work and when he has closed. Maryam's family have visited him too while her father also made it a habit to visit the old man on his sick bed everyday just to check up on him.

Abdulrahman's parents also made it to Katsina along with Alhaji Nabeel to check up on Baba Ali. They were all very disturbed to see him that sick. Baba Ali has always been known as an active person even in his old age, maybe that's why he even looks younger than his age but things have changed now as all his old features and age are showing clearly on him.

"What did the doctors say? Any progress?? Please I need to see any of them now, if they can't treat him here let's just take him abroad for a better treatment I think it will be better that way and it will save us so much stress from these people. I mean how can there not be a doctor 24/7 to check on patients or even answer their call?" Alhaji Ali asks Baba Ali's wife Hajia Murja who was sitting on a plastic chair beside him while he stares at a sleeping Baba Ali on the bed.

Alhaji Nabeel sighed shaking his head "You are absolutely right Alhaji, I mean what is the meaning of a private hospital with no doctor on ground, this is the third time I am checking with the receptionist to know if any doctor is available but she still said the doctor on call is yet to arrive. I don't understand how things work in this country. You go to a government hospital you are so dead and even the private ones are turning into something else now. I strongly agree with you, let's just fly Baba out of this place. His condition is saying he needs a proper and emergency care."

"No one is going anywhere!" They heard a faint voice said and they all turned to where Baba Ali was lying down. He just woke up from his short sleep and he looks ten times tired. Isn't he suppose to look a little better since he just wake up from a nap? No this is not a good sign, this man really needs a lot more attention and care. He tried sitting up but couldn't and they all rushed to him.

"Baba please! Stay calm, you are not suppose to sit, you don't have that energy now." Alhaji Ali said but he insisted that they should please help him sit up, he is tired of laying down all day long and they obliged. After they have helped him sit up, putting an extra pillow to support his back he looks more comfortable and he gave them a shaky smile. Hajia Zeenatu moved forward to greet the patient.

"Baba ina yini? Ya karfin jiki?? You don't look good at all and we are all worried to our core wallahi, Allah ya baka lafiya." She said full of concern and he smiled at her which she managed to return because she was at the verge of crying seeing his condition. That was even why she was so quiet and numb since they reached the hospital. They just came in to town and drove straight to the clinic to see him first before going home to rest.

"Lafiya lau Hajia Zeenatu, kun zo lafiya? Jiki Alhamdulillah, I am feeling much better today especially seeing you all around me. You shouldn't have taken the trouble of coming here yourself, a phone call I would say will be sufficient but since you are all here I am very happy and glad to see you. Thank you so much for coming, Allah yayi maku albarka."
