Maryam and Abdulrahman were eventually getting along, they chat almost all the time now and they have been talking on the phone more frequently. She was getting to like him because of his behaviours that she has noticed over the past weeks.
It has been three months since they first met and now Abdulrahman thinks it was safe to say that they are in the friends zone considering how they started. He has been patient and persistant about his relationship with Maryam and finally he thinks that his hardwork have paid off.
On a late Wednesday evening Maryam and Abdulrahman were chatting on whats app, talking about random things, he suddenly asked her if he can come see her anytime soon. As much as Maryam wants to see him because the last time they met was the second time he came to their house and she sent him away.
She badly wants to know so much about him but she couldn't ask him and he had never mentioned anything about his background to her and somehow Maryam felt it was intentional since she showed no interest at first so he is now getting back at her.
She didn't reply him and he asked her again.
Maryam why are you quiet? I said can i come see you anytime soon...???
She was quiet again trying to think of a way to reply him without sounding eager or desperate to meet him but before she could send him a reply, he sent another message.
It's okay i understand your silence, you don't have to force yourself if you don't want to do anything just not to hurt my feelings , I think i am running faster than my shadow but i will slow down 😉
Maryam felt bad after reading his message and she just made up her mind to meet him soon.
No it's not like that, of course you can come see me anytime you are ready
Abdulrahman was taken aback from her reply because he never knew she would agree this easily. Maybe she is not that tough hardshell person she pretends to be, she can also be as sweet as a honey when she wants to.
Wooww... Really? Thank you very much for accepting my request , you might not know but this really means a lot to me 😊
Maryam was relieved as well as astonished to how he could be this happy just by accepting to meet him.
It's okay, you don't have to thank me. She replied him.
No i have to. Anyways, when are you free? Maybe tomorrow Thursday or Friday since you have islamiyya on every other day except these two days.
Maryam was impressed because of how he takes everything of hers very important, not skipping or forgeting anything about her. She thought maybe tomorrow is okay since she has no special plans for it.
Yeah you are right, so i think tomorrow will be okay because i don't have any plans for it or anything doing.
Abdurahman felt like she has given him the whole world, he stood up throwing his fist into the air like yesss...
Oh Maryam you don't know how delighted and happy i am right now. Thank you so much and inshaa Allah i will come tomorrow by 4pm that is after asr prayer, i hope you are okay with that?
