Eid Mubarak Fam! May Allah accept our prayers and ibadah, ameen. So in the spirit of the Eid celebrations I said let me give you a small gift here. I hope y'all will enjoy the update. Much love ❤️ ❤️❤️

Muhammad couldn't leave Kaduna on time because he has to visit his work site first before leaving and unfortunately he met a huge traffic along the Kaduna-Zaria road so he couldn't make it to Katsina on time. It was already 7pm when he arrived and he didn't find it wise to start going to Maryam's house by then because it's not like they are courting or something anymore and besides he is extremely exhausted. He decided to just lodge in a hotel and rest for the day so that he can do whatever brought him on time the next day and leave early.

He arrived at Maryam's place few minutes after 11am, at least that isn't too early to visit someone he thought. The area was quite and calm, maybe it's because it's a Sunday that's why. He stood there thinking of how to get to let Maryam know that he is there. He tried dialing her number but then he disconnected the call immediately, he thought that maybe if she knows that he is there to see her she wouldn't even come out. He waited to see if he can get someone in to call her for him but there wasn't any suitable option for that too. He was staring at her number on his phone when he suddenly heard someone talking to him and when he looked up it was Maryam's father Alhaji Muhammad.

"Wa nake gani haka kamar Malam Muhammadu?" He asked in a surprised tone and Muhammad smiled, glad that someone will now come to his aid.

"It is me Baba, good morning. Kun tashi lafiya?" Muhammad greeted squatting on his toes.

"Ah lafiya lau Alhamdulillah, what a pleasant surprise! We were not expecting you here again and that too by this time, I hope all is well with you? Please get up!" Muhammad did as he was instructed but he still couldn't look up at Alhaji Muhammad, the last thing he wants to do now is to meet his gaze because he is utterly embarrassed by his actions even more now that he pointed it out to him. He knows what that statement means very well.

"All is fine Alhamdulillah. I just came to.... I seriously don't know where to begin." Muhammad said in a low tone

"I understand but you didn't come all the way just to look at our faces so you must start from somewhere definitely. But I think it's better if we go inside, please come." Alhaji Muhammad leads the way while Muhammad follows him to the guest living room. They got seated.

"Yawwa ina jinka Malam Muhd, please go ahead." Muhammad swallowed the huge lump that was choking him in his throat and decided to just do what brought him and leave as soon as possible, maybe he doesn't even have to see Maryam. Apologizing to her father is as good as doing it to her so he will save his self some further embarrassment.

"Baba I actually came to apologize for everything that happened in the past, for everything I done wrong and for all the pain I have put you and your family through. Please find it in your heart to forgive me. I recently got to know about everything that happened from my parents who were informed by Alhaji Nabeel and that's why decided to come down here personally to apologize." Alhaji Muhammad was driving back those memory lane, remembering how painful it was for all of them but then what is done is already done and none of them could have stopped any of the things that happens from happening as it was already written in the book of destiny and they have since accepted it as that and have moved on with their lives.

"Well thank you very much for coming all the way here to give your apologies but you shouldn't have taken the trouble really. You see what has happened is now in the past. We are humans and we are always bound to make mistake in one way or the other, I believe that at a point in our lives we all made decisions that we are not so proud of but then life goes on. We hold no grudge against you really as you did what you thought was the best thing to do as at that time, you were mislead and you acted ignorant. So you see there is nothing to worry about and if you are still insisting on saying sorry then I suggest you apologize to the victim I mean Maryam because she was at the receiving end of everything that happened."
