The Consul and The Cat

1- The Consul's Debut

Clotted Cream is quite nervous. This is his debut as a superhero. What if he messes up?

The Paladin (Financier) peeks into the room, "Are you ready, Consul?"

The Consul is his hero name. He doesn't remember why.

Suddenly, there's an explosion in the distance.

The Paladin sighs, "Not Cherry Bomb again. Have.. Try to have fun. Bye." She leaves.

The Consul stares at himself in the mirror. He has a face mask with the Custard family crest on it.

He frowns, even though he can't see it. Custard is well known for funding research about superpowers, but he buries what the actual research and experiments are.

He shakes his head, "I have a job to do! Pull yourself together, Consul! You're a hero!"

Clover (One of four coordinators) says through the earpiece, "Consul! There's been a jewelry store robbery nearby! The suspect just fled the scene and is heading north!"

"Alright!"

When The Consul confronts the robber, he's met with a fancy catboy who's holding a staff.

The Consul crosses his arms, "What do you think you're doing?"

"I am simply heading home."

"You robbed a jewelry store!"

"It's not a robbery, I am simply.. borrowing the jewelry."

The Consul gets closer, "You're going to jail uh- what's your name?"

"That is none of your business."

"Well you robbing a jewelry store IS my business! Give that stuff back!"

"What- NO! I worked very hard to get this!"

"You stole it!"

The criminal glares at him, then turns and runs away. The Consul blinks before chasing after him, "Wha- HEY! GET BACK HERE!!"

"NO!"

"YES!"

"I said NO!"

The criminal trips on some random trash conveniently placed on the ground.

The Consul picks up the criminal, who says, "Clearly the real villain here is the littering problems in the city."

The Consul's fabric snake arms take the bag of stolen jewelry.

The criminal crosses his arms, "Oh great, now I can't pay the rent. What a hero. Round of applause." He slowly claps.

"Can't you get a not illegal job?"

"I already have one-"

"Then WHY are you ROBBING a JEWELRY STORE?!"

"THE RENT!"
