I'd waited for an hour in the cabin, for any message off of him. But there was nothing. Stella had been in the cabin when I got in eager to hear about my day with him. We planned to go up to the bar later.

I sent Logan a message.

Me: me and Stella are going to Tree Trunk if you wanna join?

I put my phone in my pocket. I wasn't expecting him to come. I imagined whatever was happening the guys would take up his time.

Once we were ready and bored of being in the cabin, we set off toward the bar. It was really busy, full of faces from town. Apparently it had been busy since the town heard the brothers had taken over. They really do love them.

There was no one we knew very well outside the bar and no one I could see inside. There were a few faces that I recognised people we nodded our heads at and smiled. We ordered our regular at the bar and found a table outside to sit at.

"I am gonna miss it here." Stella sighed.

"It's beautiful isn't it." I said looking up at the trees that caved us in.

"So..." she looked at me with smiling eyes, raising her brows.

"No." I said. I already know what she's going to say.

"What? I didn't say anything!" She laughed.

I exhaled, pouting my lips. "It's getting harder everyday."

"Because you really like him?" She said.

"Yeah..." I uttered. "I really do... and I've got such little time left with him."

She gave me an apologetic smile. "You could plan to come back?"

"I know but I don't see the point in all that hassle. Being in a relationship with someone so far away?"

"So you'd want to be in a relationship with him?" She said a little grin on her face.

"Well... yeah but I can't can I?"

Her grin faded. "This fucking sucks."

I laughed. "I know."

We got another round of drinks and we were joined by Nick and Caden. I was appreciating being with my friends drinking and laughing and just enjoying the evening together. I'd got up to go get us another round. That's when we saw all the boys walking in. Austin, Logan, Dylan... and Hayes, Lucas and some other guy I don't recognise.

Logan came up to me grabbing my hand immediately and pulling me inside.

"I didn't think you were coming." I said as he weaved me through the people.

"Neither did I, they decided it last minute." We got to the bar and waited to be served.

"What are they still doing here?" I asked.

"There having drinks, then there going." He seemed frustrated, it doesn't look like he wants them here, I wonder if they've invited themselves.

"I don't understand are you friends with them or not? What's the deal?" I asked.

"No. Were not friends. But we're civil. Kinda. We've made a truce."

"Oh... do I need to know?"

He looked at me like he was contemplating. Then he spoke, "We used to be friends with them. My brothers and I did, but we fell out over work and... girls and..."

"You and Hayes fell out over a girl?"

"What makes you think it was me and Hayes?"

"Come on Logan it's obvious! You two have this weird energy together and he made that comment at the party by the lake about girlfriends."
