Saturday, 18th of June

It's been four days since Logan kissed me and ever since he hasn't spoken to me. I'm still so angry at what happened. I kept thinking about how he'd been with me before. Why would he bother with me if he knew he couldn't date staff? It must be some kind of lie, surely.

God the feelings he made me feel... stop. Stop thinking about it. It was a kiss! You didn't even take off any clothes for god sake. Just stop thinking.

I saw him walking back from the bar with some other staff members last night when I was with Stella, he never even looked at me. Now all I can think is that this is going to be how it is now, for the rest of my time here and it's not even been two weeks!

Today was my day off, so thankfully I slept in. I eventually decided to get up, so I threw on some gym clothes before taking a run around the land. Residents I passed around the resort were soaking up the sun, gleaming in happiness, and enjoying activities. Oh, how I wish I could relate. I'm basically just running to find any kind of serotonin. When I got back I jumped in the bathroom and had a shower, then took the boys and ours dirty clothes to the laundry room, before giving our cabin a quick tidy. Stella and I had made plans to go to Town today to get some necessities and actually get out of here for a while. We've heard that it's a beautiful little town with lots of cute shops and cafes.

I picked out my clothes and got dressed. It felt so good wearing my own clothes after such a long time of wearing the same uniform. I left my hair down, applied my makeup, then Stella I got ready to leave. Nick and Caden told us to meet them outside reception. We walked up there and saw them in the distance.

"Hey boys," Stella yelled out. "Remember, I don't want to be seen with either one of you, I don't want the country boys to think I'm taken okay?"

"Don't worry Stella, I'm sure you'll find another way to scare them off." Caden joked.

They both laughed and Stella gave them the finger. "Still got a better chance of getting it than you two do."

"Ouch," Nick said.

"Don't give it, if you can't take it," I smirked.

We got in Nick's car and he set off out of the resort. The drive to town wasn't long, it took about fifteen minutes and the town was as great as I'd hoped. It was big enough to have all the shops you needed yet it still had that cute small-town feeling. Nick dropped me and Stella at the square.

We started off by going to a coffee shop. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Coffee with coconut milk, my fave. Then we made our way around the shops. We looked in a little antique shop and went into the local museum. We stopped and had lunch at a charming little bistro, then went to the store to get food and toiletries for the cabin. As soon as we felt done for the day, we went to a bar and had cocktails, of course.

"It's never too early," Stella said as we walked inside.

We had Pornstar martinis, Mai Tai's, and Strawberry daiquiris.....

I checked my phone to find a message from my sister, Nora.

Nora: Hey, how's country life treating ya? Good news, Jonah said his first word today!

He did?

Jonah, my adorable little nephew. I squealed in excitement telling Stella. Then Nora sent a video of him saying 'da da' over and over again into the camera. Oh I miss him. He'll be walking by the time summers over.

"I'm getting really drunk now Laney, we need to find out where the boys are." Stella slurred.

"Yeah, I don't want to be left stranded, knowing them they'll forget us."
