Friday, 24th of June

It's my day off again, the third week here and it feels like I've been here a lifetime. How can so much happen in such a small space of time? Today was a rainy day, I could hear the rain drumming on the roof and could see it trickling down the windows. Luckily, I love the rain it makes me feel so cozy especially when I'm inside protected in my little bubble and not getting wet. I'm also excited for today because Murphy goes on vacation.

Surprisingly I've not told Stella anything. It hurt not to but I was scared to. If she happened to let it slip to the wrong person, Logan would be in big trouble and I didn't want to risk that. And it's definitely not my place to say anything about the drama Logan has with his family. That's his business. Stella is great at keeping secrets. But I can't risk anyone else finding out cause we can't let Murphy find out.

I got up this morning, went for a run, had a shower, dressed in some comfy clothes, and laid back in bed watching Netflix. I knew Logan was working today and I knew Stella would be suspicious if I did anything without her, so unfortunately I just had to wait for the right time to see him again. I decided today would be a chill-out day. Time for me to relax and not do anything for at least a whole day, it's been a while since I've done that.

I FaceTimed my sister for an hour. She'd taken Jonah out for lunch and bravely dressed in an all-white, playsuit. All. White. With a dribbling, pooping baby... how does she get away with that and still look good? I messaged my Mom and Dad, sent a picture of my big toe to my brother, and got a lovely picture back from him of his big toe.

"Are you seriously not going to do anything today?" Stella asked, throwing herself on my bed.

"Yep," I said bluntly, whilst staring into the TV.

"But I'm bored can we not go hang out in the arcade or something" she moaned.

"Nope."

"What's happened to you? Are you feeling okay?" she asked,

I laughed "I'm fine. I'm just exhausted it's been a while since I've done nothing for the day."

"Well how about we have a pamper day?!" She gleamed. Ooh, a pamper day does sound good. Stella and I have them every now and then, basically to just spoil ourselves and make ourselves feel better.

"Okay yeah, sounds good." I smiled at her.

"At least come to the little shop with me?"

"Okay, when it stops raining."

As soon as it stopped we left the cabin and slowly strolled our way to the little shop in the square. It was damp outside from the downpour. It was going to be raining on and off all day. We greeted residents we recognized on our way up. Missy and Parker, some other housekeepers had passed us in their golf cart bibbing at us as they drove by. When we got to the shop the rain started again.

"Quick," Stella screamed as we scuttled inside.

We were close to getting hit by the rain and laughed as we both just about made it in dry.

"Okay, you get the food, I'll get the spa things," Stella said.

I strolled around the shop looking at all the snack options and grabbed us both some things we both liked. Then I headed for the counter. Burke was standing behind the counter with a miserable look on his face. I swear he's the only one who is ever in this shop it must get boring if there are no customers.

"Hi, Burke how are you?" I asked.

"Not bad I guess" he sighed. "It's been so dead today, I can't wait to finish."
