Stella and I made pasta for our dinner. Whilst sitting eating there was a silence in the air.

"So," she began. "What the fuck is going on between you and Logan?"

"Well, nothing apparently" I trailed off.

"Did I stop you both? Something happened in the shed didn't it?" She questioned.

"Yeah, you cock blocked me!"

"I knew it! You were gonna do it with him in the shed? Laney what are you doing?" She stressed.

I threw my head in my hand ashamed. "It was the heat of the moment."

"At least wait till Kai's gone for fuck sake."

I sighed and let out a cry. "Oh my god! I'm terrible! What am I doing?!"

Stella laid her hand on my knee reassuring me. "It's okay I know you don't want Kai here, but just be careful. You're falling right back into your old ways again Laney I'm worried."

I looked at her, "I know, I hate that I always fall for the assholes. It's like I'm drawn to them. But Logan's generally funny and likable... but now he's told me not to tell anybody, which just makes me believe he's just like the others! I need to talk to him about what the hell is going on."

"So he's still saying he can't be with staff?" She asked.

"I'm guessing so if I can't tell anyone. But it doesn't help that he keeps kissing me!"

"Is that all you've done?" She questioned.

"Well, we've got very close to doing more." I widened my eyes.

"Oop sorry about that..." she smirked.

I threw my head in my hand again "I don't know, this sucks so much 'cause I just want Logan, and Kai's just... there! It's wrong!"

"But you hate Kai he'd be gone if it weren't for Murphy."

"But he's not gone."

"I saw you try to talk to Logan before when we got back to the resort," She said. "But Kai was watching you."

"He was?" I fretted.

"Yeah, so that's why I called you back. But you still need to talk to him."

"I don't want to be treated like an idiot anymore Stella I went through all that with Kai, I can't do it again."

"I know. I won't let you... You need to talk to him okay?" she demanded.

"Okay."

After dinner, I had a cold shower and put some lotion on my skin, then I slipped on a floaty summery dress.

"No way." Stella shook her head at me. "That dress is too cute, if you want Kai to stray away you need to repulse him more."

"Well, what happened to what you said about not letting him make you dress differently?"

She scoffed. "Shit, yeah, your right. I'm gonna do the same." Once we were ready we heard a knock on our cabin.

"Hurry up! we don't have much time tonight," It was Nick's voice. I opened the door.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Shit Laney you scrub up nice" Nick said sarcastically.

"Well, I do try, Nicholas thank you." I matched his sarcasm.

"Hurry, 'cause we've got work tomorrow, Murphy said we could go tonight but we've got to be 'somewhat good', were his words."

"Okay, okay, we're coming now, calm down. Are you driving?"
