"Do you need a bucket?" I said to Stella.
She was rolling around in her bed in the worst state I'd seen her in a while. She'd come back in at about 3:00 am this morning and just about made it to her bed. Now she was obviously feeling the wrath of her hangover. She could barely get a word out, just groans from under the covers.

I grabbed a bowl from the cupboard and placed it next to her bed, then I grabbed a glass filled it with water, and found an ibuprofen pill. "Here you go, girl. Have these when you're ready."

I had a shower, got myself ready, kissed Stella on the forehead, and head out to the shop. I reckoned I'd get her some fruit or something fresh for her. That'll be the best thing for her for when she's ready to eat. She'll argue with me when I get back to not do anything for her. She'll say it was self-inflicted and she doesn't deserve the attention. I imagine Caden is the same in his bed right now, so if he's not looking after her, then I am.

In the shop, I grabbed some fresh fruit, a smoothie, and a pack of water bottles. I carried it all back down to the cabin, taking the little path for a little scenic detour.

I tried to keep my mind off of everything that had happened last night. I felt like it was some kind of wake up call or something. I kept on getting flashbacks of Hayes and the smell of his cologne which made me gag. It was such a sharp sickly smell that lingered on my clothes all night. I felt guilt every time I thought about it. I'd sent Logan away, I had to, I couldn't do anything with him after what I did. Austin told me not to tell him but if I don't tell him someone else will. Like I've said before everyone knows everyone, someone must have saw.

When I got back to Stella I managed to get her to sip some water and gave her a smoothie. She'd managed to sit up and look like she was back in the world again.

She smiled at me whilst gripping the smoothie in her hand. "I don't deserve this from you."

"Yes, you do."

"It's self-inflicted, I deserve to-"

"-Stella, you deserved a good night out. Enjoy your smoothie."

She retreated and smiled at me, "I wish I just came back with you,"

I sat on my bed laughing, "Feeling rough?" I joked.

She tried to laugh but just let out a little cry instead, "I just kept throwing them back and throwing them back..."

"Sounds like a good night,"

She took a sip of her smoothie, "Well, I danced loads and drank loads. Someone threw up on the dancefloor that was hilarious, and then we were all gonna sing happy birthday to Logan, and he fucking disappeared."

I looked down and sighed, "That's... because he came here."

Her eyes opened up in excitement, "What like in here, in here?"

"Nothing happened... we had a talk and, I gave him his present and he went home."

"Hold on a sec," She screwed her face in confusion. "Logan was here? he left his party for you... and you only talked?"

I shrugged, "Well I wasn't gonna sleep with him."

"Why not? That's what you'd usually do?"

"Thanks... I can't, Murphy still has that rule and... I just can't."

She sighed and looked at me in disbelief.

"What?" I questioned her gaze and she continued to shake her head making a grin.

"Stella what?"

"He left his birthday party, for you, Laney." She asserted. "Does that not tell you something?"
