Rachel walked inside her house and headed right upstairs to her room to put her things away. After she's set everything down and put her shoes away she headed back downstairs to grab herself a snack. She grabbed some crackers and vegan cheese with a glass of water and went back upstairs to her room sitting down at her desk she pulled out her phone and sent Quinn a quick text

Rach : Wanna have lunch with me in the choir room tomorrow ?

She hit send and then began doing her homework playing light music in the background while munching on her snack after an hour she'd finished all her homework for the night and saw she had a text from her daddy LeRoy

Daddy : Hey sweetheart sorry but we won't be home until late tonight working on this case there's money for you to order dinner in the kitchen on the table please make sure you get to bed at a decent hour love you 💛

Rachel smiled softly before heading downstairs with her phone and looked through their takeout menus before deciding to order Thai she quickly placed her order before heading to the living room to look for something to watch.

She realized it'd been an hour and the blonde had yet to text her back...maybe she was busy Rachel thought at first but then she began to worry as she thought back to what had happened with the blonde at school today between the slushy she'd had thrown at her and being yelled at by everyone in Glee including Mr.Shue she hoped the blonde was okay remembering that Quinn said her father was back at home.

Rachel already hated Russel Fabray for kicking his daughter out and she hated Judy for allowing Russel to do it rather than standing up for her daughter. The brunette remembered how sad Quinn sounded when she mentioned her father she remembered the many times the blonde flinched while at school....but why ?

Why were things causing her to flinch ?

Why hadn't anyone heard from her much during the summer ?

None of it made any sense to Rachel what was going on with Quinn-...no what was going on in the Fabray home ?

As she began to ask herself more questions the doorbell rang she quickly got up and answered it seeing it was her food she paid the boy thanked him and grabbed her food before heading back to the living room she'd decided she'd watch 'My Life As A Teenage Robot' it was a show she'd always secretly enjoyed.

Rachel ate her dinner and watched the cartoon laughing whenever she saw something she found funny. After she'd seen 4 episodes and finished her dinner she checked the time and it was almost 7:30 already so she got up off the couch shutting the tv off and heading to the kitchen. The brown eyed girl threw away her trash and quickly went and locked the front door before making her way upstairs.

She took a hot steamy shower and then began her nightly skincare routine before getting dressed after she'd finished that all up she walked back to her room grabbing the plate and glass from her snack and taking it downstairs setting it in the sink and turning on the kettle Rachel opened the cabinet and grabbed a mug before grabbing a tea bag and setting it in her mug.

Hearing the kettle whistling she grabbed it turning the burner off and pouring some water into her mug she added a bit of honey to the tea after it finished brewing throwing the tea bag away once it was done and made her way back upstairs. Getting back to her room she settled in bed turning 'My Life As A Teenage Robot' back on while she drank her calming tea she could feel herself getting tired when she heard her phone ding

Quinn : Hey Rachel sorry I'm just now texting you back I was doing homework but yes I'd love to eat lunch with you tomorrow

Rachel smiled before quickly sending the blonde a goodnight text and plugging up her phone. Rachel set her phone and mug on her nightstand and laid down turning the volume down on her tv before she dozed off into a deep peaceful sleep
