Lucy smiled weakly at LeRory as he brushed her long red hair she'd been stuck in the hospital for 3 days and over the course of those 3 days her hair and officially gone back to its natural ginger color so far LeRory was the inly one that knew since Frannie had work that morning and Rachel and Santana had school. "How are you feeling right now LQ ?" the tall man asked as he began french braid her hair "I feel okay...my chest doesn't hurt as bad as it did yesterday" Lucy said while she began drawing in her sketchbook "That's good maybe you'll be able to go home later and get a nice home cooked meal yea ?" LeRory said smiling softly at the hazel eyed girl "Yea maybe....I miss Rach it's hard to sleep without her" the ginger haired girl said with a frown "I'd imagine you've been sleeping in the same bed for a while now" He said with a small laugh as he finished braiding her hair. 

LeRory moved to sit in front of the red head and looked at her he knew she was in pain it was obvious but he also didn't want to worry her to the point of having a panic attack and unfortunately he needed to speak with her abt the trial "Lucy ?" LeRory said softly gaining the girls attention "Yes ?" Lucy said raising her brow "I need to talk to you abt the trail we can't keep putting off this conversation" He told her seriously "I don't wanna talk abt it" she said looking away from him. Lucy had been putting off the conversation all week making up every excuse not to discuss it but now the trial was quickly approaching and he needed to prepare her. 

"We're talking abt this Lucy no excuses this time" LeRory told her. Lucy looked a the man and sighed "Fine tell me" the red head said "Okay well firstly you are gonna see them and you'll have to take the stand and speak on everything.....they'll try to make you look like a liar or a bad child they might try to make Judy and Russel seem like good parents or they may make you look like a liar for not reporting things sooner they might even bring Frannie into it" LeRory told her and this all seemed to stupid to Lucy the evidence was all there she was evidence "What ? That's crazy" the hazel eyed girl said "Yes I know but there's one more thing they may bring up...Lucy they...its highly possible that they might bring up Beth" the man said. Lucy looked at him as her eyes widened "Bring up Beth ?! Why ! What for my daughter has nothing to do with what they did to me !" Lucy said her eyes full of anger. 

LeRory sighed he knew telling the young mother that Beth could possibly be brought up would make her furious and he understood that he'd hate if someone did something like this to Rachel. "No it doesn't have anything to do with her....you didn't willingly have sex Lucy but they'll make it seem like you did even though Noah is in jail....they may even bring him in to testify I don't know they may bring Finn in even though he's behind bars" LeRory told her and Lucy nodded she felt like she was prepared for this to take on seeing any of them again "When is the trial ?.." Lucy asked him quietly "3 days" LeRory said calmly. The red headed girl nodded taking in the new information "Listen Hiram and I are with you every step of the way I promise we're going to make sure they're all locked away and stay locked away" the tall man said trying to reassure the girl. "Okay...I trust you guys...you've helped me so much so no turning back now" Lucy said with a small smile. LeRory smiled and moved to hug the girl happy that maybe things would finally settle down for the young girl.

Thankfully Lucy had been able to leave the hospital the same day as their talk and the girl had made the decision to go to school the next day and the day had gone well with no breathing her chest problems and that made Lucy happy though she was still taking things easily so that she wouldn't have another scare like that. When Lucy had gone home that day and Santana, Rachel and Frannie had seen her red hair they'd gone crazy constantly looking at her hair and messing with it. Lucy was beyond thankful for all of them they'd all done so much for her in the past few months and she'd been thinking of ways to thank everyone. Eventually Lucy had come up with an idea which led to where she was right now. 

Lucy had taken it upon herself with Sue's permission to invite both of the Berry men, Frannie, Shelby, Beth, Burt, and even Evelyn to glee club that afternoon. Once everyone settled in their seats Lucy stood in front of everyone and looked them over before she began speaking "When this school year began I was in a horrible position...I was alone...I was incredibly closed off...I was-....I was being abused mentally, physically, verbally, and sexually...by the people I thought were my parents" The girl said as she looked at the people set before her "....but then...then I met you Rach you wasted no time becoming my friend...you defended me....you made sure I felt comfortable...and you didn't push when you saw my very obvious injuries...you just asked what I needed and how you could help...had I not trusted you...I'd probably be dead Rae...you have protected me so much...and sadly you had to witness Russel beating me and raping me....you had to make that call to the police...you helped me realize that Noah Puckerman took advantage of me...I love you so so much...you started out as my friend...then my best friend...and...and then you became my girlfriend...and...I couldn't have asked for a better person to be with" Lucy said as she watched tears roll down her girlfriends cheeks she'd heard the gasps from everyone when she said Rachel was her girlfriend but right now that wasn't important to Lucy. 

Lucy looked at the Berry men and took a deep breath " Hiram and LeRory.....sure you're both my lawyers....and though Hiram and I have a rocky relationship...you two are father figures to me...I look up to you...and I love you both so very much....you have changed my life so much and I know with you two at my side I will get justice and they'll be locked away forever....you two took me in and treated me like I was your daughter...you made sure I was okay and safe...and I am so grateful for the both of you...you have no idea how grateful I am...and now here we are 2 days from the court date....and your both doing everything possible to prepare me and make sure we win...and...and even if I don't win...that'll be okay...because you both tried and gave me the life I deserved...and you won't give up the fight...you won't give up on me.." the red head said watching as tears rolled down the men's cheeks. 

Taking another deep breath Lucy directed her attention to Santana " Tana...you have been my best friend since freshman year...and we had a very rocky relationship...and many of people were surprised when the two of us began being friends again this year...you have done so much for me since the moment I met you....you've always noticed when I haven't eaten or when I'm down and you know everything there is to know abt me...I love you Tana you can try to get away from me as much as you want but your stuck with me I'm not going anywhere' Lucy said with a small smile seeing the hint of blush on her friends cheeks as he laughed lightly. 

"Shelby and my little Beth you two are amazing you never fail to put a smile on my face or make me laugh I enjoy spending tome with the two of you and I am so happy that I get to see you two as much as I do now that you've moved back to Lima...I'm beyond grateful that you allow me to see and spend time with Beth Shelby your apart of our funny family and there's no way of getting out. You and Beth are here to stay...I know that you both love me...and I hope you both know that I love you just as much" Lucy told them with a smile laughing when the little girl let out a loud squeal

Lucy looked over everyone she had three more people to thank seeing as she'd already thanked Sue in private "Burt I spend a lot of time with you weather it be working on cars or just talking...you made sure Kurt stopped picking on me...you always love when I make you foods and I've even given you a few lessons...you know exactly what to say and do to calm my anxiety...and you truly are a father figure in my life." the hazel eyed girl said before directing her her attention to her big sister "Fran...I'm gonna keep it short bc if I don't we'll both be sobbing...but i love you to the moon and back...you have protected me my entire life and I couldn't be more grateful for all you've done to me....you tried your best to protect me from the abuse... you really did and I will never stop thanking you for all you have done for me...I love you Fran..." Lucy said as tears slipped from her hazel eyes. 

The hazel eyes laded on Evelyn she hadn't spoken to the woman since she called her when the girl was in class and Rachel and Santana were the only ones that knew who Evelyn was to Quinn. "Evelyn...you um...you're my mother...the woman who put me on this earth...and I should've been more understanding...and I'm sorry...I've been awful to you...when you left me with Judy and Russel it wasn't bc you didn't want me...it was bc they wouldn't give me back to you...and you figured I'd be better off with a wealthy family...when as we all know I wasn't...but that's okay bc now I have so many other people that will take me in with open arms...and if you'll still have me...I'd love to have a relationship with you...a mother daughter relationship" Lucy said as she looked at the women with hopeful eyes. Evelyn looked at the girl with tears in her eyes "Lucy..."
