Rachel hadn't done much over the weekend her dads were busy working so she was at home alone most of the day she'd spent Saturday with Mike Chang catching up on assignments and he told her he'd quit Glee Club as well and all Rachel could do was hug him and thank him for supporting him and Quinn she debated telling him abt the abuse Quinn was enduring at home but she decided not to after she'd finished up with him just spend the rest of the day lazily moving around the house mostly just watching tv and doing her laundry she had gone to bed far earlier than she'd expected that night but she didn't mind but now it was Sunday and Rachel had just arrived at Frankie's house the older Fabray was gonna she her pictures of Lucy and much more so she got out her car and walked up the steps and rang the doorbell she could hear Frannie yell a " Coming !! " and she could also hear Barnaby barking as Frannie tried to shush him. Frannie opened the door with a smile " Hi Rachel " she told her as she let the shorter girl inside " Hi Frannie how has your day been ? " Rachel asked her sitting beside Frannie on the couch " It's been okay I've been trying to get in contact with Quinn since they let her go home but she hasn't responded dso I'm a little worried " Frannie told her honestly and Rachel nodded she'd been trying to get in contact with the blonde as well but Rachel's mind drifted as she saw the different photo albums Frannie had pulled out " Oh wow there's so many " The short brunette said  as Frannie grabbed the first one " Yea I have one for every year dating all the war back to when she was born so each year has it's album " The older Fabray said with a small smile " This one's from. 2000 Quinn was 5 and 6 that year " Frannie told her and opened the book and Rachel almost instantly smiled as she saw the picture of a toothless little Lucy she was absolutely adorable " Oh my gosh she's so cute ! " Rachel gushed and Frannie smiled " Her tooth hadn't been lose but Lucy is incredibly clumsy and one day we were at the park with one of our uncles and we tried to tell her to pay attention to where she was going and she wouldn't and she ran right into a pole she cried a little bit then laughed when she saw how bloody she was and I remember her turning and looking at me and saying ' Fran ! I look like a monster this is so cool ! ' it was funny and concerning " She told her with a little laugh as she told the story.

The two girls flipped through the books for hours Frannie landed on a picture and stopped " This...this is when Lucy left...and when Quinn arrived...I remember Lucy sobbing that she hadn't wanted to do any of this...she didn't want to dye her hair she didn't want to be a cheerleader and she didn't want a boyfriend either they had been restricting her food intake making her exercise for so many hours...they once had her exercising for 10 hrs...she threw up 4 times...fainted twice...and they just didn't care...one day she tripped and fell on the cement they took that as their opportunity to get her a nose job they took her to a salon and got her hair dyed blonde...they went so far with wanting people to make sure Quinn seemed blonde that they drive outside of Lima to get Quinn's hair done " Frannie told her looking at the picture even Rachel could see that Lucy was unhappy it was obvious before Rachel knew what she was doing she wrapped Frannie in a hug " Have you spoken with my dads yet ? " She asked her not pulling away from the hug that Frannie clearly needed " Yea I did..I actually went to their office earlier and started telling them some stuff..." The older girl told her as she kept flipping through the book they were now looking at pictures from Quinn's freshman year but one specific picture caught Rachel's eye and she quickly stopped Frannie from flipping the bag as she looked over the page and that's when she noticed it...a bruise on her leg and another on her arms. Rachel remembered that the blonde would have these small bruises like this but no one ever questioned them bc she was a Cheerio and they had long awful practices that often resulted in injuries except now that she really thought abt it you rarely ever saw any of the other Cheerios with bruises but Quinn's were always frequent " They did that..." Rachel mumbled but Frannie was confused " Who did what ? " Frannie asked her and Rachel pointed out the two bruises " Russel and Judy did that...it wasn't from Cheerios practice it couldn't have been she was the only one who had frequent bruises " Rachel told her a scare watched the realization wash over Frankie's face " This is when it all really started..." Frannie said calmly and both girls knew they had their first piece of evidence.

Quinn ran downstairs quickly she'd gotten so wrapped up in the books she was reading that she wasn't paying attention to the time and her parents were due to be home in 2 minutes and she hadn't prepared their lunch the blonde ran into the kitchen and quickly and nervously began to get the things to make her father his favorite sandwich. Her breath got caught in her throat when she heard the front door opening as glanced at the clock...they were early she hadn't even gotten everything she needed for the sandwich out yet " Quinn ! Our lunch better be ready and set on that table ! " Russel yelled as he hung up his coat and made his way towards the dining table only to see that nothing was there " QUINN !! GET YOUR LAZY ASS IN HERE RIGHT NOW !! " The man yelled and Quinn quickly came to the dining room her breathing rapid but she tried to keep it under control " Yes fath- " She was cut off by a hard sharp slap on the cheek " WHERE'S OUR LUNCH ?!! " He asked as he gripped onto her hair tightly " I-...um...I got caught up in my book and...I lost track of time..." She told him quietly she didn't wanna look at him she knew his face was red and filled with rage. Quinn slowly looked up at her father and that was a mistake bc he punched her in the stomach causing her to fall to the ground " Your so pathetic Quinn !! " He told her as he kicked her and she did her best to blink back her tears bc she knew crying would only make it worse " WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU !!" Russel screamed at her as he kicked her once again but harder before bending down and grabbing a tight grip on Quinn's hair and began dragging her towards the stairs as they went up the stairs Quinn could feel herself getting dizzy and her head was hurting like crazy each time it hit a step finally they'd made it to her room. Russel picked the girl up and went to her room " You have been very bad Quinn and you know I hate when you don't follow the rules ! Now I have to punish you Quinnie " He told her his voice was cold her eyes were dark and Quinn knew exactly what was about to happen next...but all she could do was take it and stay quiet.

Rachel had been at Frannie's house for hours looking at pictures of Lucy and getting to know each other but now she was back home and she was preparing dinner for herself since her fathers were out on a date she hadn't heard anything from Quinn all day and she was a little worried but she knew she'd see her favorite blonde at school tomorrow and that put a big smile on her face she didn't have much left to do for the night so once she finished making her dinner she settled on the couch and turned on a movie she'd decided upon ' The Edge Of Seventeen ' Frannie had recommended it to her.

As the credits for the movie rolled Rachel smiled the movie was so good she quickly grabbed her phone and sent Frannie a text

Rachel 🌼 : Hey Frannie I just finished that movie you recommended it was amazing and you were right I hate the mom.

After sending the message she got up from the couch grabbing her bowl and glass from her dinner and walked to the kitchen and turned on some music as she began washing her dishes she'd had a pretty good day and she'd learned so much abt Lucy and Frannie she also had fun with Mike when they hung out earlier something told her the two would grow close and would become best friends just like her and Quinn. As Rachel finished washing the dishes she made sure all the doors and windows were locked and then made her way upstairs to her bedroom then to her bathroom and turned on her shower then took off her clothes before stepping in the shower. Rachel continued to think abt her day as she took her shower laughing when she remembered the way little Lucy lost her front teeth. Eventually the water began getting cold so she got out the shower wrapping her towel around her. Rachel walked over to her sink to start her skin care it was needed so she'd look good and face clear skin. Once she finished she went into her bedroom and put on her pajamas and put her hair up into a messy bun as her phone dinged

Frannie 🌺 : So glad you liked the movie I told you you'd hate the mom 😂 have a good night Rachel sleep tight

Rachel smiled as she read the message she turned on her tv and turned off her light she decided to watch ' The Powerpuff Girls ' she'd always loved the cartoon she turned her volume down and laid down as she watched the cartoon she hadn't remembered the show being this good but she was loving it but soon enough her eyes began getting heavy and although she tried to fight it she couldn't and fell asleep.
