Rachel sighed quietly as she scrolled through Twitter looking at the many of tweets that popped up on her timeline but a certain picture caught her eye and she froze as she stared at the photo of her now ex-girlfriend, Santana, and Beth sat on the couch in matching pajamas snuggled together each of them sporting a big smile the caption of the raven haired girls post shattering her heart "My girls" .

The brunette felt her eyes watering as the two words echoed in her mind.

Was Lucy moving on ? 

Had their relationship meant nothing to her ? 

The more Rachel's mind raced the sadder and angrier she became this wasn't fair. In her own fit of anger she chucked her phone at the wall creating a loud thud as it collided with the wall before falling to the floor.

"Rachel ?! Sweetheart what are you doing ?" the voice asked pulling Rachel from her thoughts.

"Are Quinn and Santana dating ?" she asked her voice laced with obvious anger

"What ?" LeRory asked.

He was confused why would it matter who Lucy was dating or if she was dating anyone at all ? And why had she called her Quinn ?

"I said are Quinn and Santana dating" she asked growing a bit irritated that he didn't just answer her question.

"Does it matter ? You two aren't together" he said still trying to figure out what his daughters problem was.

"So they are !" Rachel said looking at him with wide eyes that made her look kind of crazy.

"Rachel sweetheart she-...no she and Santana aren't dating" he said.

LeRory eyed his daughter carefully he was lying to her right now but he'd promised both Santana and Lucy that he wouldn't tell anyone about their blossoming romance.

"You hesitated, Why'd you hesitate ?!" she aske, looking at him

"Because it isn't any of your business what she does anymore Rachel !" he said, raising his voice startling the brunette.

"You have no right to be asking all these questions about her unless you actually care about her and her well being ! If I recall you broke up with her Rachel" he continued.

"You showed up at that girls apartment unannounced and broke up with her ! You didn't give her any room to talk or explain herself, you just left her and she had no choice but to suck up her feelings because she has a 2 year old to take care of ! She is the only person you cut off because of this entire ordeal, You still talk to me, your father, Frannie, Shelby but you cut her right off and you may not speak to Santana but you still look at her social media while you have Lucy blocked on everything" LeRory said giving his daughter a stern look.

"Do you even know how bad you scared Beth that night ?....Look I love you and I'm sorry we all kept that from you but you are not going to sit here and yell, cry, and mope around because she could possibly be moving on in her life...In a life that just so happens to not have you" he finished.

Rachel looked away from her daddy feeling ashamed in herself. 

"I'd never thought about how she felt...." she mumbled feeling even more guilty having said the words out loud.

"You hurt her sweetheart....and I'm sorry it's taken you this long to realize this all....but I want you to know that it's gonna take a lot for you to insert yourself back into their lives...Santana is helping her...and honestly without her she'd probably be doing really bad right now because of this break up and everything else she's got to deal with....I know you miss her but give her some space...give your self space and time to think" he told her placing a hand on her shoulder
