Rachel and Lucy awoke to an empty house they'd stayed up late the previous night watching tv together and even playing a few rounds of UNO Lucy winning most of them but now they needed to get out of bed and get their day started so both girls got out of bed and began getting ready washing their faces, brushing their teeth all the average things. Once they'd changed into comfortable clothes Rachel grabbed her laptop and walked downstairs. Quickly Rachel made both the girls yogurt bowls and coffee and sat down at the island as they ate Rachel logged into the Twitter account and turned to Lucy " You sure you wanna do this ? " Rachel asked her softly and Lucy nodded " Yea..I-...yea I do..." Lucy said tho she was nervous she knew she wanted to do this

Hello McKinley here's the big scoop. There's a football player that claims he's a "badass" that's now being charged with sexual assault wonder who it is. I bet you all know who he is maybe even slept with him a few times to.

Rachel took a deep breath and posted the tweet " Posted it " Rachel mumbled both girls were nervous originally they'd thought abt adding the part where Noah knocked Lucy up but decided that's give it all away. Glancing at her computer Rachel saw the tweet was already blowing up likes,comments,retweets were coming in by the second and she couldn't help but look through the comments she was rather surprised that many people had guessed the right person while others were hoping for justice to be served.

Now that the tweet was posted the girls didn't have much to do they spent the day watching tv reading or doing schoolwork that they had but now they were in the kitchen. Lucy was trying to teach Rachel how to bake but they'd gotten side tracked and were now in the mitts of a food fight that was until they heard quiet gasps behind them causing both girls to turn around and be faced with the Berry men both with different expressions LeRory looked like he wanted to laugh and he very clearly wanted to grab his camera while Hiram looked angry and annoyed " What have you done to my kitchen ? " Hiram asked as calmly as he cooked tho they both could tell he was anything but calm " Oh Lucy was teaching me to ba-" Rachel was cut of by her father " Lucy what did you do to my kitchen " Hiram asked her and she scared to say the least " I-...I was teaching Rach how to bake..." Lucy told him softly " Rachel sweetheart go upstairs and clean yourself up and Lucy clean up this mess " Hiram said almost immediately Lucy began cleaning up the mess tears threatening to spill from her hazel eyes " No it's okay I wanna help L- " Rachel once again was cut off by her father " I said go clean yourself up Rachel now " Hiram said and the brunette sadly went upstairs slowly.

Rachel was now uncomfortable and sad her father hadn't acted like this towards her not recently anyway he'd been nicer and friendly and she thought he'd liked Lucy but now that she thought abt it he'd been acting this way for a while now even before Lucy became such a huge part of their lives he'd been kinda cold towards her and her daddy even coming home late some nights claiming he had to stay at the office a little later than normal she'd noticed how distant he was from her daddy, she'd noticed the way he often glared at Lucy, she'd heard them arguing in the middle of the night...she could hear them arguing right now in their bedroom...the more she thought abt her father the more she realized how distant he'd been from the both of them in the past year. The brunette sighed as she put on the clean set of clothes she'd grabbed for herself. Her family was falling apart at the time age and Lucy needed them and for once in her life..there was nothing she could do abt it.

Rachel glanced over at Lucy the blonde hadn't said a word since the fiasco in the kitchen her cheeks were flushed a light pink and her hair was up in a messy bun. Lucy was clearly trying to avoid abt and all contact with Hiram she knew that man didn't like her she almost felt as if she was back in her own home with Russel and Judy and she'd been punished like..she'd done something bad..Lucy felt like crying but she couldn't bc she could feel Hiram's eyes on her as her legs bounced as she picked at her food.

You could cut the tension in the room with a knife and truthfully no one was really eating except for Hiram. Both Rachel and LeRory could tell that the young blonde desperately wanted to leave the table and go lay down " Lucy ? Hunny you can go head upstairs if you want..just don't forget to take your medicine " LeRory told her sweetly and she nodded at him and quietly got up and went upstairs not wanting to cause anymore problems than she already had.

Not long after Rachel joined Lucy upstairs both girls took their showers and got into bed without a single word both having things on their minds. Rachel turned on a cartoon not paying attention to what it was and they silently watched the cartoon as they fell into a deep sleep.
