Lucy and Rachel walked into McKinley High and straight to their lockers. It had been almost two weeks since the school shooting and it was obvious to anyone that looked at her that Lucy hadn't slept in days she had dark circles around her eyes she was sluggish and she wasn't being goofy like she normally was. Rachel was growing more and more concerned for her best friend who not only wasn't sleeping but she wasn't eating either. Everyone at school knew Lucy was having a hard time and all their teachers were doing all they could to make sure she was comfortable well all of them but Mr.Shue he'd still been getting on to the blonde whenever she didn't answer his questions no one understood why the man was acting the way he was towards Lucy she hadn't done anything to him in fact she hadn't done anything to anybody.

Thankfully their first three classes had gone by smoothly and they hadn't had any problems with anyone but now they were in Spanish class and unsurprisingly Mr.Shue had yet to arrive to class " Here ya go Q " Santana said dropping a brown bag in front of her Lucy's brows furrowed as she opened the bag to reveal her favorite sandwich,chips, a water and a chocolate bar " Oh...thank you S but I'm not hungry " Lucy said as she tried to give the Latina the bag back " No that's yours and I'm not taking it back Q you need to eat " The Latina said " I-...I am eating " Lucy lied " Really ? Your gonna sit here and lie to me ? I know your not eating I can see your hands shaking...your arms are thin your legs are thin your weak..you need to eat and I'm not taking no for an answer " Santana told her seriously. Sighing Lucy nodded " Okay I'll eat it " Lucy said reluctantly. Santana smiled at the blonde before returning to her seat just as Mr.Shue entered the room.

As Mr.Shue began teaching Lucy slowly pulled the sandwich from the bag and went to open the container before she was stopped " Quinn ! No eating in class pay attention ! " Mr.Shue said " Uh Mr.Shue Lucy didn't eat lunch...or breakfast " Rachel told him " I don't care she eats when everyone else does " The man said and began teaching again. Rachel and Santana both looked at Lucy and they both noticed something her eyes looked weak she was pale and many other students noticed the way Lucy's body swayed slightly in her seat and the way she kept trying to steady herself " Mr.Shue...I don't think Quinn is okay " Azimio said as he looked at the blonde who could barely keep her eyes open " Quinn is fine " Mr.Shue said not even looking at the blonde " Lucy...sweetie what's wrong ? " Rachel asked looking at her best friend closely the blonde seemed to mumble something but no one could understand what it was that she said. They all watched as the blonde slowly stood from her seat clearly wanting and needing to leave the classroom and get some form of help " Quinn sit down right now !! Your distracting the entire class ! " Mr.Shue yelled as he received glares from his students. Lucy went to turn back to her seat but she felt far to dizzy and weak and before she could even register the person in front of her she lost her balance and hit the floor as everything around her went black.

Santana and Rachel quickly rushed to the blondes aid as her body came in contact with the floor " Lucy ?! " Rachel said in panicked voice as Santana carefully turned the pale blonde onto her back to reveal a bloody nose " Jesus Christ...she hit the floor really hard " Santana said inspecting the blondes nose for any further injuries " Her nose might be broken or fractured we need to get her to a doctor I can call my dad and see if he can get her in " Santana said pulling her phone from her pocket and Rachel herself was surprised the Latina was doing so much for the blonde. They all watched as Santana spoke with her father on the phone " Hola, ¿crees que podrías ayudar a Quinn? Rachel y yo la traeremos " Santana said other than Rachel no one understood what the Latina had said " No, se desmayó en clase. No creo que haya estado comiendo ni durmiendo desde que ocurrió el tiroteo " The Latina said as she spoke to her father " gracias papa nos vemos pronto " Santana said before hanging up " Alright Rachel my dads waiting for us at the hospital he's preparing a room for Q as we speak " Santana said as she picked Lucy up off the floor " Okay yea Frannie dropped us off this morning so we'd have to take your car " Rachel said as she grabbed her things along with Lucy's and Santana's and left the classroom with Santana.

Santana and Rachel sat in the waiting room as they waited for news from Dr.Lopez neither girl had said anything to one another since getting in the car. To say both girls were uncomfortable was an understatement Rachel didn't like Santana that was so secret everyone knew she hated the Latina for all she'd done to her and her best friend and she didn't trust her either but she also couldn't help but wonder why she was suddenly doing so much for Lucy when not to long ago she'd been shoving her in the hallway and humiliating her " What's your angle ? " Rachel asked as she looked at Santana who seemed to be caught off guard by the brunette's question " What are you talking abt ? What angle ? " Santana asked confused as she turned her attention to the shorter girl " What's your angle with Lucy ? Why have you all of the sudden apologized ? Why do you all of the sudden care so much abt if she's okay now ? " Rachel asked clearly having an attitude " I don't have an angle I love Quinn I always have contrary to popular belief I care abt her greatly " Santana said truthfully but Rachel wasn't believing anything she said but decided to let it go for now for Lucy's sake and her own sanity.

Santana was more than aware that Rachel wanted her far away from Quinn and she knew the shorter brunette didn't trust her one bit but that didn't matter to her all that mattered was that Quinn trusted her and wanted to be her friend again she could care less abt anything Rachel wanted right now and if it's been up to her she would've told the girl off by now but she knew Rachel was really important to Quinn and she didn't wanna hurt the blonde again so she chose to stay civil with the brunette.

Santana and Rachel sprung up from their seats when Dr.Lopez walked over to them " Dad what happened ? Is Quinn okay ? " Santana asked quickly " She's awake on an IV drop at the moment I did speak with her myself and I took her weight and etc it's more than obvious that she hasn't been eating and it's been that way for a very long time bc she's severely underweight...she passed out due to dehydration, lack of sleep and the not eating " Dr.Lopez told the girls and they both nodded taking in the information " Can we go see her ? " Rachel asked him " Yes your free to see her she's in room 212 right down the hall be careful with her oh and het nose is fractured it'll take a while before it heals " Dr.Lopez told them. Santana quickly gave her father a hug before catching up to Rachel as she walked down the hall.

Rachel and Santana walked in Lucy's hospital room to find the blonde watching ' Totally Spies ' on the tv in her room " Q ? " Santana said as she walked over to the blondes bed and both girls were surprised when Lucy turned her head and had a content smile on her face they knew all of Lucy's smiles and they knew which ones were genuine and which ones weren't which is why both girls were surprised when they couldn't tell if it was a genuine smile or not " Hi guys " Lucy said softly and relaxed into her friend's embrace as they hugged her " I'm so glad your okay I was so worried abt you " Rachel said as she pulled away from the hug " Q...why in the haven't you been eating ? " Santana asked her softly " I-...bc I'm fat Tana that's why...look at me..I'm huge " Lucy said as tears welled up in her eyes Santana had known how Lucy felt abt her looks and she'd often had the blonde over for dinner at her house to ensure she ate even had her stay the night sometimes to make sure she wouldn't throw it all up later Rachel on the other hand had no idea sure she'd heard Frannie mention that eating was often hard for Lucy but she'd never seen Lucy just not want to eat she'd seen the blonde eat tons of times at this point so how come she was so thin where was all the food going ? Rachel sighed quietly and sat beside her best friend " It's okay..don't cry...I'm here for you..and I'll be here while you get all the help you need " Rachel said as Lucy laid her head on her shoulder.

The three girls sat on the hospital bed as the watched ' Totally Spies ' on the tv both girls glancing at the blonde ever so often before looking back at the tv their blonde friend had a lot to get through and they both knew they'd be there for her every step of the way.
