Rachel smiled as she walked to her locker on their first day of school with Santana at her side she was excited it was their senior year ! " Rach your gonna blind someone with that smile of yours" Santana said with a laugh as they walked to their lockers. " I'm just so excited San ! It's our last year of high school and-" Rachel stopped talking when she saw her girlfriend walking down the hall in a full black outfit shoving anyone and anything in sight.

Santana sighed as she watched her best friend she didn't want her to spend her senior year like this but what could she do ? They'd tried to stop her once already and that just ended up with her stealing money from every single one of them. This was all Evelyn's fault and she'd only made it worse when she'd sent the girl a letter in the mail. In the letter Evelyn explained that she simply wasn't ready for the responsibility of raising care of a teenager which made Lucy furious and sad it hadn't made sense Evelyn wasn't supposed to be raising her she was meant to be building a relationship with the daughter that was taken away from her. Evelyn had also said that Lucy calling her 'mom' was what really did it for her.

Lucy had just gone worse from there but they were surprised to see her pushing others around the hallway. "Hey Q what are you doing ?" Santana asked her as she passed by "I'm just having fun Santana" Lucy told her with a smile and her dark hazel eyes sent chills down her spine. The red head looked so empty and hurt but to her and Rachel she just looked really hurt whilst to everyone else she seemed angry and crazy. "Hey guys !" Brittany said as she walked up behind them "Hey sunshine give me your lunch" Lucy said looking at her and Brittany frowned "But this is my lunch my mom packed it for me" the ditsy blonde said "Yea well I don't care what your mommy made for you it's mine now so hand it over unless you'd rather have a swirlie" Lucy said looking at her with a smirk. With a frown Brittany handed the girl her lunch and watched as the hazel eyed girl walked away "Rachel...what's wrong with Quinn ?" Brittany asked sadly "I'll explain in glee club...which we should be getting to" Rachel said and walked away towards the choir room with a frown.

Rachel didn't like this she wanted her girlfriend back and now she was gonna have to explain everything to the glee club but she wasn't even sure Lucy wanted everyone to know about this. Sighing Rachel sat down and watched as everyone walked into the room smiling at each of them hoping that her hazel eyed beauty would walk in the door even though she knew she wasn't coming. Rachel is brought out of her thoughts when Santana nudged her "Hm ? What ?" the brunette asked looking at her best friend who sent her an apologetic smile "Everyone's waiting for you to speak" Santana told her

Rachel nodded and walked to the front of the room and looked at her friends "Um...a lot of you have come up to me today asking about Lucy and why she's acting the way she is.." Rachel started as she fiddled with her fingers "As you all know Lucy met her mother Evelyn you all met her as well...and she...she left...without saying goodbye...she sent Lucy a letter in the mail and I won't say what it said...all I'm gonna say is it hurt Lucy a lot...which leads us to where we are now...You've all seen Lucy today doing many of things...things she wouldn't normally do...I would suggest you just steer clear and not bother her...it's the best option unless you wanna be screamed at" The brown eyed girl told them causing everyone to begin talking and giving their own opinions "Hey ! Lucy is going through a very rough patch all she needs is support and space so talk all the chatter and voicing your opinions because they don't matter" Santana said quickly shutting everyone up. Everyone knew when Santana referred to her best friend by 'Lucy' instead of 'Quinn' she was serious. Sending the latina a thankful smile Rachel took her seat beside her and listened as Sue began speaking

Rachel hummed quietly as she cleaned up her room but stopped when her door opened to reveal Lucy "What is your problem ?!" Lucy yelled as she looked at Rachel causing the girl to frown "I don't have a problem..." Rachel said "Yes clearly you do ! Going in that choir room and telling them all my business !" Lucy yelling her face turning red in anger. Rachel stepped back "They just wanted to know Lucy...they were just worried" the brunette said softly "No ! That isn't their business ! That wasn't your story to tell !!" Lucy screamed as she moved closer to Rachel.

Rachel's eyes began to water having never heard the girl scream so loud or look so angry at her "I-...I just thought they should know..." Rachel said quietly "You know what...we're over Rachel this relationship is done !!" Lucy screamed at the top of her lungs "L-lucy....no...no you don't mean that..." Rachel said as tears rolled down her tan cheeks "Yes I do ! This is over we're done !" Lucy said and walked out pf her room slamming the door in the process.

Rachel began sobbing as she fell to her knees and blindly reached for her phone calling her best friend "Hey Rach what's up ?" Santana asked as she sat up on the couch "S-san...San she-...we-..." Rachel stuttered through her sobbing. Quickly Santana got up off the couch "Rach ? What's wrong ? Why are you crying ?" Santana asked her voice full of worry "S-she...b-broke..." Rachel tried to tell her but Santana knew what she was trying to say "I'm on my way Rach stay put okay ?" Santana told her as she quickly grabbed her keys and ran outside yelling to her mother that she was leaving as she hung up the phone.

Santana drove to the Fabray-Berry home faster than ever not caring that she was going over the speed limit. Once she finally made it she parked her car in the driveway and got out of the car before quickly running inside and up to Rachel's room. Santana stopped in the girls doorway the sight breaking her heart she'd never seen the girl in such a sad state "oh Rach..." Santana said moving to help the girl off the floor and onto her bed. "It's okay...let it all out Rach" Santana said rubbing the crying girls back.

Santana sighed quietly she knew Quinn was hurt but she'd never thought she'd hurt Rachel let alone break up with her. The red head was crazy about Rachel she hated being without her she couldn't even sleep without being with Rachel or having something of Rachel's. This was all bad and for once Santana actually had now idea what to do to help.
