After the trial things began to slow down to look up for the new family. Although Hiram and LeRory had divorced they were now as close as they were when they first met which made Rachel more than happy. Another thing was that the judge had deemed Frannie and LeRory Lucy's legal guardians the two adults thought it'd be best if they all lived in one house so they ended up moving into a bigger better house where everyone had their own rooms as well as a music room, an art room, and an office for Frannie and LeRory. They also had a guest room that was honestly just Santana and Beth's room for whenever they stayed over. Everything was going great for them. 

Thanksgiving had come quickly for the new family and while everyone else was excited Lucy had been nervous they wouldn't like her cooking and baking but once everyone told her how delicious it was she calmed down and had fun for the rest of the day. It had been the first thanksgiving where she was actually allowed to eat and leave her bedroom.  Although thanksgiving had gone well Christmas had been a disaster they'd tried to combine Christmas and Hanukkah and it had just been horrible between the decorations and Lucy's anxiety it was just bound to be bad but they made it work and in the end they had a wonderful time playing in in the snow and opening gifts with one another. 

Soon enough New Years came and passed and then the girls were back in school. As time passed Lucy began building a relationships with everyone else in glee club but more importantly she was building relationships with Beth and Evelyn and Rachel began mending her relationship with Shelby. they even spent spring break together. Once exams wrapped up at the end of the school year the Fabray-Berry Family and Santana went on a road trip to Atlanta and stayed 4 weeks. 

The road trip itself had taken two days because they'd stopped at a hotel the first night before continuing the drive the next day the girls had done so much shopping that they had to buy another suitcase. However much to the girls sadness they went back home to Lima where they spent the rest of their summer having tons of sleepovers, babysitting Beth and Lucy even began teaching Santana and Rachel how to cook and bake. 

Everything was going great until it wasn't. It had been just three weeks before school when everything went downhill. Lucy and Evelyn had made plans to go out for the day and spend some time together so Luc got up that morning got herself ready and sat in the living room waiting for her mother but...first we waited 5 minutes.....then 10 minutes....then 30 minutes which soon turned into an hour....and that hour turned into 3 hours. The hazel eyed girl tried calling and texting her mother she was supposed to pick her up at 10 and many of hours had passed yet she hadn't heard from her. 

Rachel and Santana decided to take matters into their onw hands and they went to the hospital Evelyn worked but she wasn't there so they went to her house and it shocked both girls when they found the house empty and it shocked them even more when the neighbor informed them that Evelyn had moved two days ago. They were now confused and angry Evelyn had left and didn't bother saying goodbye to Lucy after the young red head had trusted her. 

When the girls told LeRory and Frannie they all agreed to tell Lucy slowly and ease their way into telling her but when she found out she locked herself in her bedroom refusing to talk for about a week but when she did come out of her room they were all horrified. Whilst Lucy was locked in her bedroom she'd cut her how to shoulder length and she'd snuck out and bought herself black hair dye. They were all beyond terrified. Lucy had snapped at them all more than once those last three weeks of summer break but now it was time for their senior year and no one knew how well this was gonna go or what Lucy's next move was.
