Rachel woke up releasing a small yawn as she did so and turned over to look at the sleeping blonde beside her she looked so peaceful her hair spread out on the pillow her lips parted slightly the sight of the blonde only made her smile she hated that she was gonna have to wake her especially since she didn't sleep much due to her nightmares they'd been different last night usually they were abt her father but last night they'd all been different...one of her screaming for her mother to help her another one for Frannie not to leave her...and truthfully she was sobbing and the next one shocked Rachel it was abt Santana...the blonde had been crying so hard that she began hyperventilating. Rachel wasn't gonna lie on this specific dream she didn't immediately wake the blonde up she wanted to know what she was gonna say she just listened as the blonde spoke saying that Santana said she could trust her and that she couldn't believe she could do this to her...then she said one thing that really shocked Rachel...she said and I quote " You sat in my bedroom and kissed me when you know how my parents are ! You knew what he would do to me ! " as far as Rachel knew Santana had love for one person and that was Brittany why had she kissed Lucy ? The entire thing made Rachel wanna watch Santana even more than she already had to make sure she stayed away from Lucy. Maybe she could asked Lucy abt it later...but right now I needed to wake her bc she had a meeting with my dads so I moved closer to her and pushed her hair from her face " Lucy....it's time to get up " She said softly and only smiled when Lucy groaned loudly. They'd been stuck at home for a week at this point and Lucy had stayed the night every day if Rachel had learned one thing it was that Lucy wasn't much of a morning person especially when she didn't sleep well the previous night and this morning was no exception " Luce hunny come on you have to get up " Rachel said once again and smiled softly when the blonde opened one of her eyes and looked at her " What Rach..." She mumbled into the pillow and it made Rachel's cheeks flush a bit she loved Lucy's morning voice it was husky and thick with sleep " You have that meeting with my dads this morning remember ?" She told the blonde as she attempted to clear her mind of Lucy in her head " I don't wanna..." Lucy told her still speaking into the pillow " I'm gonna tickle you if you don't get up " she told the blonde and she could see the small smile on Lucy's face " Okey fine..." She said and sat up in bed causing Rachel to laugh at the sight of her hair " Jeez Luce your hair is all over the place " Rachel said trying to stop laughing as Lucy turned around and looked at her " Stop laughing Rach " She told her frowning as she began to stretch and got out of bed " Sorry sorry I'll stop " Rachel told her with a smile bc got u aswell and followed the blonde into the bathroom " Daddy says you'll probably get your stitches removed soon " She told her as the blonde began brushing her teeth. Lucy just nodded and continued brushing her teeth and Rachel began brushing hers as well.

Soon both girls were dressed and ready for the day they decided they'd stop at the Lima bean to grab breakfast so they headed downstairs and Rachel grabbed her keys and purse " You took your meds right ? " She asked looking at the blonde " Yes "  Lucy replied with a nod and then they made their way outside and to Rachel's car they got in and Lucy immediately turned on the radio after Rachel started the car and then began driving. Rachel listened as Lucy hummed to the songs on the radio she was surprised that she seemed to know every single song that played but now they were at the Lima beam so Rachel turned the car and radio off and got out the car and walked inside with the blonde. They were rather busy today which was expected since it was now Sunday there were teens there that were trying to complete work they probably had been given the previous week. As the girls stood in like a group of people caught Rachel's eye it was the Glee Club she saw Santana and tried her best not to laugh seeing the scars and bruises she'd given the girl she could tell they were talking abt something like important bc none of them actually seemed to notice us in fact they didn't even hear the barista calling Kurt for his drink whatever it was Rachel just hoped it didn't involve her or Lucy. Rachel shrugged and walked up to the counter ordering her coffee and a bagel and listened as Lucy ordered her own coffee and muffin. Rachel paid the lady she could see her eyeing Lucy's arms but Lucy hadn't seemed to notice so Rachel just glared at the lady and stood off to the side with Lucy " When we get back to your house we need to work on some of our work without any distractions " Lucy told her in an attempt to be stern but to Rachel she just looked cute " Yes miss Lucy " Rachel said smiling at her and pulling her into a hug she knew Lucy wasn't used to affection but she was slowly warming up to the affection she was receiving from her and her fathers. " I've always wanted to cut my hair but my parents wouldn't allow me to and I was on the Cheerios so I couldn't I mean I can't " She told her " I think you should cut it Lucy you'll look cute " Rachel told her tucking some of the blondes hair behind her ear " I'll ask Frannie " She said just as the barista called her named as well as Rachel's the two girls quickly grabbed their drinks and pastries they had enough time so they went and sat down " I wanted to thank you Rach " Lucy said looking at her " Thank me for what ? " Rachel asked her a tad bit confused " For  everything...helping me with all this stuff with my parents...defending me at school...making sure I'm comfortable in your home...your a real friend and I couldn't be more grateful...I know I can trust you with anything " Lucy told her with a small smile and Rachel grabbed her hand across the table " You don't have to thank me Lucy I'd do this for anyone you deserve to be safe and happy and around people you can trust " Rachel said which made her remember Lucy's dream " Can I ask you a question ? " Rachel asked looking at her and she nodded for Rachel to continue " Last night...you had a nightmare abt Santana..what...what was that abt ? " Rachel asked carefully she'd learned that Lucy had a tendency to close herself off when asked certain questions she heard her sigh " I met Santana my second week at McKinley....she introduced me to Brittany..to Finn...to Noah...and it seemed the two of us would be friends forever...we were halfway through the school year and Santana asked why we never hung out at my house...and I didn't have an answer for her...but that week my parents were out of town so I invited her over after Cheerios practice...we'd been having a lot of fun breaking our Cheerios diet and eating tons of junk food...but my parents returned home early.." Lucy told her taking a deep breath and continued " They both began screaming that the house was a mess and that I was a a disaster pig and many other things things that I'd rather not repeat...so I quickly ran and grabbed a bag I kept packed in my closet and went to Santana's...and I told her everything...things then weren't as bad as they are now...she seemed to understand and let me stay at hers whenever I needed...not to long after I fell pregnant Sophomore year Santana was over and at the time I didn't know I was pregnant yet we were in my room working on homework and my parents weren't home...at least I thought they weren't...Santana moved closer and closer to the point where she was practically sitting on me..and she kissed me...my father chose that moment to enter my room and all hell broke lose...he made Santana leave and me ?...I was hurt so bad that night that I couldn't even go to school the next day..." Lucy told her as her eyes filled with tears " When I finally went back to school Santana apologized but it didn't matter the damage had already been done...even worse she'd told her parents abt my parents and what she'd done..." Lucy said gently wiping the tears that had spilled from her eyes. Rachel felt bad for her but it also made her question Santana what was her deal with the blonde ? " I'm sorry Lucy...if it makes you feel any better I'd never do that to you ever...I'd never betray your trust like that ever " Rachel said giving her hand a squeeze " Thanks Rach " She told her with a small smile. The two girls sat and continued to talk abt many things from tv to animals and more as they finished their coffee and breakfast but soon enough it was time for them to go so they threw their trash away and walked out the Lima bean to Rachel's car. Neither girl seemed to notice the glee club watching them as they left.
