Rachel sighed tiredly as she walked around McKinley high looking for her best friends she'd stopped to go to bathroom and when she came out they were gone. Sue had called an early glee club meeting and it was Lucy's first day back she didn't wanna be late so the brunette hurried to the choir room but stopped when she saw her teammates huddled around the door and heard music and saw the two dancing in the choir room oblivious to everyone watching them.

Santana and Lucy laughed as the one year old before them clapped and giggled "Aw babygirl did you like mama and auntie Tana's performance ?" The red head asked as she picked up the little girl who only giggled more "I'll take that as a yes little B and for that I'll give you a treat" Santana said not missing the way the little hazel green eyes lit up at the mention of a treat "Ah little Bethy likes treats" Lucy said smiling at the young girl in her arms jumping when she heard clapping behind her. Quickly both girls turned around to see their teammates and Sue "I don't think I've ever seen this side of Santana" Kurt teased as he moved to his seat "This side is reserved for my favorite little bean" the brown eyed girl said grabbing Beth's baby cookies from her bag handing her one "There you go sweet girl" she said with a smile. Rachel looked at them with a confused smile "I didn't know we were keeping Beth today" the brunette said moving to sit down "Shelby got called into work unexpectedly so she dropped her off and my baby was really fussy so Tana and I sang her a song" Lucy said with a bright smile. Rachel couldn't help but smile she hadn't seen the girl this happy in weeks "Hi Beth miss me ?" The brunette said laughing to herself when the one year old squealed "Alright everyone take a seat" Sue said smiling at them and watched as they all quieted down and sat down. "Alright now I called an early meeting one to welcome back Quinn" the tall short haired blonde started and clapped along with everyone else "I also called this meeting because Nationals is right around the corner therefore we need to decide on songs however I have decided that we dedicate this week and next week to love" Sue told them her eyes landing on each couple in the room "I want each of you to sing a song to your lover or crush which ever you prefer and then we'll do a big group number how's that sound ?" She said chuckling when they all screamed 'yes' at her "With that being said by glee club this afternoon I want some of you to have a song prepared" the blonde haired woman told them.

Lucy smiled to herself as Sue dismissed them "Are you gonna sing a song Luce ?" Rachel asked as she left the choir room with them "I don't know maybe, I never pass up on the opportunity to play the piano" the red head said as she walked down the hallway holding Beth "Hey wanna come with me to the gym to try and get Beth to walk ?" Lucy asked with a hopeful smile. It was no secret the one year old was developing slowly she hardly ever spoke and she still couldn't walk or stand by herself which concerned them all "Yeah sure it's better than class" Rachel said with a shrug walking to the gym with the two redheads "How far has Shelby gotten with getting her to walk or talk ?" the brunette asked "Not far she's started pulling herself up when holding onto things like a chair or the bars on her crib" Lucy told her as she opened the gymnasium door and walked inside "Talking wise she just babbles or whines no words yet" the red head said sitting Beth's bag down before sitting down on the floor and sitting the one year old in front of her. "What have the doctors said about ?" the shorter girl asked sitting down on the floor "They say its normal but I think it's something more serious that the doctors and Shelby are missing" Lucy told her as she helped Beth stand up before holding her waist to steady her "Like what ? I mean what do you think is wrong ?" Rachel asked pulling Beth's baby puffs from her bag "I-...I think Beth is autistic" Lucy told her "I know that may be far fetched but I've done so much research on it and it's passed through genetics a-and I know it came from my side. They said babies with autism don't walk until they're one and a half" the hazel eyed girl said meeting Rachel's chocolate brown eyes.

Rachel looked at Lucy she could tell the girl was serious "Then take her to a professional someone that specializes in that stuff" the brunette said holding her hand smiling softly when Beth took a baby puff from her hand "Yeah maybe" Lucy shrugged before looking at the little girl in front of her "Beth ? Baby can you say mama ?" The redhead asked holding the little girls waist "Mmmmm" Beth said giving her mother a teeth grin, Rachel laughed at the little red heads antics she was so much like Lucy it was a little crazy "That was a good try bubby now say mama please" Lucy asked once again but Beth only giggled and squealed when Rachel made funny faces at her. "You're playing with me Bethy you know how bad I want you to say this" the hazel eyed girl said tickling Beth's sides causing the little girl to go into a laughing fit and try to crawl away to Rachel "Come here Beth mama's torturing you huh ?" the brunette said grabbing the little red head from Lucy who gasped dramatically "Whatttt mama would never !" Lucy said dramatically, it only caused the little girl to giggle more and more at her mama's antics "Mama !" Beth said through her giggles. Both Rachel and Lucy stopped and looked at the little girl who only repeated herself excitedly " Mama ! Mama !!" Beth continued her little face turning red from all the laughter "Oh my gosh !" Lucy said pulling Beth as well as Rachel into a hug "You said mama baby ! Oh I'm so proud of you ! Rachel and I will have to go get you a treat !" Lucy exclaimed as she pulled away from the hug.

Santana watched the three from a distance she hadn't seen Lucy this happy in months even during the summer she hadn't been this happy. The Latina couldn't help but smile as she watched the three talk and laugh this was the Lucy she liked to see this is the one she hoped stuck around for a long time and she also was silently hoping the two girls would get back together. With a quiet happy sigh Santana grabbed what she needed and left the gym with a big smile of her own. Her best friend was finally happy and she didn't want anything to ruin it.
