Lucy sighed quietly as she sat in class between her friends. The blonde was bored and sad bc Shelby had come and taken Beth back with her that morning. So now she was in English and usually she was paying attention and answering every question but today she could care less abt what the teacher was speaking abt. The blonde looked around at her classmates who were actually paying attention with the exception of Brittany.

Lucy sighed once again and began drawing in her notebook instead of taking the notes she needed. The blonde was to deep into her own thoughts that she didn't notice her classmates and the teacher all looking at her that is until Santana nudged her " Q ?" Santana said snapping the girl from her thoughts " Yea Tana ?" The blonde said continuing to draw as she wondered who's phone was ringing and why they weren't answering it...whoever it was had a good ringtone " Your phone has been ringing for like 2 minutes" Santana said and the girls cheeks quickly turned a deep shade of red as she pulled her phone from her bag fumbling to decline the call and groaned when it immediately began ringing again.

Lucy quickly walked out of the classroom once the teacher gave her permission. The blonde answered her phone wondering why this person was calling her knowing she was in school " Yes ?" Lucy said " Well you haven't been texting or calling so I figured I'd check on you" Evelyn said and Lucy sighed in frustration " I'm at school Evelyn" the blonde said "I know I just-" Even started until she was cut off " You just what ? You what Evelyn ? You said everything you needed to say the other night" the blonde said a hint of attitude in her voice " I didn't mean that stuff it just came out...I didn't mean that I promise" the woman said. Lucy scoffed " Then what did you mean hm ? What did you mean when you said I wasn't supposed to make the same mistakes you did ?! What did you mean ?!!" Lucy said growing angry with the woman " Lucy calm down..." Evelyn said with a hint of concern in her voice " No do not tell me to calm down ! Don't tell me what to do !" the blonde said not a really caring that she was yelling and people could possibly hear her. Evelyn sighed and took a deep breath" Can we talk abt this please ?...I didn't mean to say that...just calm down your acting like a crazy person"  Evelyn said but it only added fuel to Lucy's fire " Oh great so now not only did you not want me ! But I'm a crazy mistake of a daughter to you to ?! Great Thanks Evelyn goodbye !"  The blonde said hanging up as walked in the classroom.

Lucy sat back in her seat her body tense and her eyes glassy from her tears she was holding back. She noticed the way a few of her classmates looked at her but right now she could care less " Luce....are you alright ? Do you need-" Rachel started before being cut off " I'm fine Rachel" the blonde said ignoring the way her leg bounced. Rachel frowned she and Lucy had gotten to a point where the blonde never called her Rachel anymore unless she was speaking with a teacher or something was seriously wrong.

Santana eyed the blonde sitting beside her as she ate her lunch. Lucy had been being harsh with her and Rachel and she'd put her phone on silent because it kept going off. Santana watched as the blondes phone lit up once again and having enough of her friends attitude so she grabbed the phone from her friends pocket and looked at the screen seeing there were over 100 messages from Evelyn asking to talk and more. "Alright what happened with you and Evelyn ? I mean after she called you and Beth a mistake" Santana said looking at her friend " She called you and B mistakes ?!" Rachel screamed "Yeah Rach she did and now I wanna know what else she said to you Q" Santana said noticing the way the blonde began fidgeting with anything and everything in sight "I-...she-...I told her that I was at school and she said she knew that and that she wanted to check on me because I hadn't been calling or texting her...and she starred saying all this stuff abt the other night and I just blew up...and then she said I was being a crazy person and I blew up again then hung up....not only am I a mistake to her but I'm also crazy..." Lucy said lightly swinging her legs over the edge of the stage. 

Santana looked at her friend with pure anger in her eyes " She called you a crazy person ?" the taller girl said trying to control her tone of voice. Lucy nodded slowly not noticing that her friend was now calling someone from her phone. " Hello Evelyn Hi it's Santana Lucy's friend I am going to you this one time so you better listen carefully. If you ever call Lucy or Beth a mistake or call her crazy again I will end you" Santana said " Oh I uh..." Evelyn began stumbling over her words having expecting her daughter to be on the phone " And if you wanna speak to Lucy in person you aren't doing it without me or Rachel present do you understand ?"  Santana said. " Yes....right it won't ever happen again" Evelyn said " Good now goodbye"  Santana said before hanging up. 

Lucy looked at her friend and hugged her "Thanks Tana" the blonde said her voice muffled by Santana's sweatshirt. " It's no problem Q you know I'd defend you no matter what" Santana said. Rachel watched the two smiling " Awww I love you guys" Rachel said joining the hug. Lucy smiled as she hugged her friends things were okay now but she had so much more to come in the next week.
