[Uchiha Cabin Residence]

"Leave it."

"No! Just butt out will you!"

"Let it go. Now."

"You let go!"

"You're not taking it with you."

"Yes, I am!"

The sound of Kana and Sasuke's bickering filled the cabin just as it always did when they woke up earlier than planned. Neither one of them was a morning person, yet they were always the first ones out of bed each morning.

"Good morning, Kimi." Sakura greeted once she entered the kitchen. "They're going at it already, huh."

"Unfortunately," the dark-haired girl watched them with a bored gaze, already tired of their childish behavior so early in the morning. "It's been going on for a while now. Neither one wants to give in."

"What are they arguing about this time?"

"Your king sent scrolls with crates to congratulate us for our hard work," Kimi informed.

By "king" she meant Hokage which the two teammates eventually figured was close enough.

Sakura glanced around the cabin noticing big crates scattered everywhere as well as unopened scrolls that surely contained more of them. She walked over to the opened one sitting on the island table to see it filled with multiple bottles of wine securely set inside with one obviously missing. It wasn't until she lifted her gaze back to her teammate and the princess that she realized where it was.

Kana was gripping onto the body of the wine bottle with both hands while Sasuke merely held onto the neck of it, his arm outstretched upward as far as it could go. It left the princess practically dangling in the air as her toes grazed the floor.

"Let go," Sasuke repeated for what seemed like the hundredth time.

"No!"

"Lady Kana wants to take one to work. Sir Sasuke forbids it." Kimi added in case the pinkette still hadn't caught up.

"Please!" Kana pleaded. "I never ask you for anything!"

"You ask me for everything." Sasuke retorted.

"Okay, so what's one more thing!"

Finally getting tired of the argument herself, Sakura interrupted by snatching the bottle away from the both of them. "That's enough," she scolded before focusing on her teammate. "What's with all the liquor crates?"

"Kakashi sent them for the village," Sasuke explained. "Since we were able to help finish building the hospital, school, and a few other buildings, he sent this as a congratulatory present for the work we've done."

"Why so much?" Sakura frowned as she scanned the other crates labeled: whiskey, beer, rum, and many other alcoholic drinks.

"All they have here is ale." he shrugged, not concerned about the gift like she was. He was actually happy he could have something different to drink other than the same thing he's had for the past months. "I think we should give it all to the new bar we just built. They could sell it and divide the money with the school and hospital."

"I agree."

"Can we at least keep the wine?" Kana asked with pleading eyes. As a royal, she was used to drinking the finest wine at any given moment. It'd been a while, to say the least.

"No."

"Just one bottle!"

"No," Sasuke repeated.

"You never let me have anything!"
