KEDAR
✨Sometimes silence is scary. It's eerie. It's annoying. We all have our own fears of winning and loosing in a relationship but when that fear comes true and you are so horror struck that you won't know how to react is the most scariest part of it.
Currently our little home although still decked with miniature lighting which Prakruthi had forgotten to remove, our neighbours and the society kids still bursting crackers, in mid of booms and blasts this house still had a eerie silence which was scary.
I was anxious because Prakruthi had strictly denied me from going to hospital, she had threatened Neil to not even lurk around the hospital premises and she had not even informed her father because she didn't know what to say.
It's been two weeks since that scary night of crazy reveals. Prakruthi had straight out slapped Neil without even demanding an explanation because she was furious for not being informed about all this fiasco. Neil wanted to talk to me and confess to me everything but I was in no mood to hear him out. He kept calling me day in day out but I was fuming. I know Avanthi is also involved here and if they were in a relationship they could have told us but least we could expect was when something this critical was happening in their lives they could have informed us. Avanthi had completely cut off from her family and told us she went to London then she said it was Sydney and now we see her here in India.
Our heads were spinning just at the thought of the mess these two had caused. I didn't even want to see Neil's face even in a WebEx meeting. I had started working from home inspite of Prakruthi and Venkat persistently yelling at me. But my argument was I'm not at peace and empty mind is a devil's workshop. I was hurt by my own blood. And I could never figure it out. It was all infront of me. He wasn't cheerful anymore. His changed demeanor. Him avoiding Camelia's topic. And yet I let go everything.
Prakruthi was the most affected. She had too much on her plate. I was still recovering and she insisted upon cooking my diet meal everyday then she would work from the hospital where she would take care of Avanthi although she hadn't spoken to her and just like I was avoiding Neil she avoided Avanthi to add on her semesters were fast approaching and the project load was increasing. She was bombarded.
But like they say time stops for none. These two hectic weeks passed in the wink of an eye and today Avanthi is going to be discharged. Prakruthi insisted upon bringing Avanthi home and I did not resist. We have a 2bhk home, although it's small...it is a home!!! And she needs home and care after a miscarriage and those multiple fractures.
We had not told anyone about Neil and Avanthi but we had to tell family something because we weren't there for Atharv's cradle ceremony. Atharv!!! Prarthana Vanni and Rudra's second child was a boy and they named him Atharv. Everyone kept asking why we weren't there and I had to tell someone so I told Omkar Anna about my accident however I avoided speaking about Avanthi and Neil. He was a lot worried too but he handled everyone well saying Prakruthi and I were caught up with huge office commitments and Anna's convincing skills as usual were awesome and no one called post that.
I was still in my thoughts when the bell rang and I opened the door. I noticed a tired Prakruthi standing by the door along with her sister who had multiple bandages all over her body. But I was most worried about the wound in her heart. Loosing a child is not a small loss.
'Come in Avanthi... please come' I invited her home and she hesitantly stepped inside. She looked uncomfortable and wasn't ready to meet my eyes.
'Avanthi stop thinking about the past. We cannot control life. It's all in god's hands. We are all puppets!!!' I said and she looked at me with eyes filled with tears.
