KEDAR

'Ken this is indeed a great proposal. I really have no doubts in going ahead with this project but I was really expecting you to come to Sydney so we could do the signing personally!!!' said Mr Aaryan Sehgal, CEO Behir Group.

I smiled and nodded 'Thank you Aaryan. I really appreciate your invitation but I have a few personal commitments. But you don't worry Mr Neil would be there for the next six months to handle the project personally!!! Right Mr Neil?' I asked on the video conference and Neil's eyes looked deadpan into mine. I was not upset with him, I was disappointed in him for everything he did to Avanthi but that's personal and this is our professional space. Even Aaryan noticed my formal tone and behavior with Neil however did not question him much.

The call got over and I rubbed my face with my palms. I know I am tough with Neil. It's been two months I haven't spoken to Neil. Mom is also sensing the tension between us but I didn't want to tell her anything but Omkar Anna...I couldn't hide it from him. I had to tell him. He was extremely pissed with Neil after hearing everything.

Omkar Anna was still adamant to call up Avanthi and talk to her but her number was not reachable. This time she had completely cut off all the connections. She hadn't called Pakku or anyone. Her inbox would also bounce. There were no means to contact her at all. Omkar Anna was mighty pissed with Neil and Neil now had stopped going to Mangalore even to visit family. He was scared of Omkar Anna's outburst. He travelled around the world. It looked like he was trying to escape things. I couldn't forgive him this time. He tried to hide such a huge thing from us. From me. And his stupidity cost us loosing the first child of our family. I couldn't forget that.

I was still in my thoughts when my phone began ringing and I smiled looking at the person calling. I quickly picked the call...

'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!'

Oh God my woman is crazy!!!

'Mi Vida....calm down!!!'

'Wohooooooooooooooooooooooooo' she screamed again deafening my ears again such that I almost kept my phone slightly away from my ear but I could still hear her scream in joy.

Soham had already gotten the news from the University Chancellor that she had topped the university but hearing it from her mouth brought extreme joy to me. She was on cloud nine and her happiness and joy made me happy.

'I topped the university Kedaaaar!!! I topped the university...Are you not proud of your super talented wife?' she asked and I chuckled.

'Ofcourse Mi Amor...I'm so so so proud of you!!!' I said calmly when she went silent for a second and asked

'You knew it didn't you? Wait a minute...you... you asked Soham Anna to find out about this or maybe you asked that dummy secretary of yours whom you should by the way must have fired because she still stares you like you are a piece of meat...which by the way you are but you are my meat...only mine to relish!!! So now tell me who dug out this news??? Ughhhh I hate this!!! I wanted to tell you this first!!!' she sounded pissed and I laughed out loud

'Calm down Mi Esposa...It's just the news and if I didn't know the news how would I be planning to celebrate it with you?' I said and she quickly asked 'Celebrate? Are you taking me to Food Street again tonight? I'm telling you this time I'm going to eat those spicy potato twisters and you are going to try fire pan this time'

'Prakruthi!!! Relax!!! This time we have a bigger surprise for you' and I smirked.

'Oh God!!! You are crazy Kedar...you booked a private jet for us..you have lots of money then give it to me... nonsense...you think all this comes for free-' and she was on and on. I wanted to take her to her house. Her home. My home. Our...home...back in Hollywood. The place where I had my childhood, my best memories. I wanted her to know me better. I knew she loved Bangalore...she loved India and I loved Hollywood...I loved California...so I decided to buy a private jet for our own personal use.
