Ace, Lance and I sat on the couch in complete silence. There was a certain tension in the room as Ace was staring down Lance, but said man was looking away with his arms crossed. I sat in the middle of them to make sure no conflict arose. An impossibility but still, I could only hope. We had been like this for the past thirty minutes.

Lance finally shifts his gaze towards Ace and looked him in the eyes. This seemed to set Ace off as he stood up from his seated position and charged at Lance.

"What the hell is your problem!" Ace screams as I stand up and grab his by the waist, using all my strength to stop his movements.

"Ace calm down!" I grunt out and strain myself to keep him still. It wasn't an easy task holding a raging bull back from its target.

"No! I want to know if this was his plan all along! Trying to take me wife!" His eyes flashed dangerously.

"Oh please Fire Fist," Lance drags on. "If I wanted y/n then I would've taken her by now." He responds looking quite bored and sure of himself.

What an idiot!

"Not helping!" I tell him and successfully pull Ace back down on the couch. I quickly straddle his lap and push him against the plush couch by his shoulders.

"Angel get off," Ace grits with his hands gripping my waist and his eyes looking feral. He looked ready to explode at any second but he wouldn't risk hurting me by pushing me off. It just wasn't in him.

I shake my head no. "You'll kill him if I do."

"That's the point," he hisses and his eyes aren't even looking at me anymore. "Forget the plan. I can just explode the lab once the cuffs are off, please let me kill him." He begs.

I sigh. "You know guards would be on us in an instant and even if they caught Lance in there they wouldn't do anything to him-Ace! Stop squirming!"

"I can't! I need to hurt him!"

"Alright, I've had about enough of this." Lance sighs and stands up from his place on the couch. "I didn't know I'd be proposing to her until this afternoon when it was sprung on me. Therefore I had no time to warn either of you as our parents didn't want us meeting until dinner. Happy?"

I noticed Ace stopped squirming and decided to get off him after a few moments of complete silence. I sat at the edge of the couch to make sure I could stop it if anything went bad.

Couldn't have them killing Ace for messing up Lance's looks.

Ace had his hair covering his eyes as he pushed himself up. He slowly walked over to Lance so they stood toe to toe. I waited in anticipation for one of them to make the first move.

Surely enough, it was Ace.

He slapped Lance upside the head with a pout. "Maybe write a note or something next time and pass it to me."

Lance looked pissed and tackled Ace to the floor. "Maybe use your brain for once!" The boys rolled around on the floor throwing light punches.

I rub my temples and go to the kitchen. I take all the non perishable foods and shove them in a bag. I take another bag and fill it with water, juice, and alcohol. I wasn't sure how long we'd be at sea for and it's better to be safe then sorry.
