If I had to choose where I found the most peace, it would be exactly where I was right now.

Surrounded by the beauty of nature with my head in Ace's lap. I was half way finished reading a book from the library as Ace was snoring. His orange hat was tipped over his eyes even though we were covered by the shade of the tree he was leaned against. The sun was shining bright today with little cloud coverage. Ace decided to go shirtless and I wore a pale yellow sundress letting my natural hair out.

We were surrounded by shrubs so it felt like we were in our own little paradise even though hell was right outside our barricade. The palace, house, mansion-whatever it's called is so suffocating. We couldn't stand another minute being inside the cold prison and decided it would be alright to go into the gigantic backyard.

We're sitting on a yellow and white checkered tablecloth. There's a half empty picnic basket thanks to Ace, which contributed to his now comatose state. Other then his snoring there was also birds chirping happily from all sides of us. Two peacocks settled against a smaller tree right across from us but we didn't bother each other.

The book I was reading was on Celestial Dragons. Though being thoroughly disgusted by the ideals there was also useful information which could be beneficial in the future.

I flipped to the next chapter called 'The Secrets Of The D. Family.'

Beware all Celestial Dragons. Our blood is holier than the vermin below us which is why they will never stand against their superiors.

However, there is a special type of creature that lurks in the shadows with the vermin. Unlike the others, if not careful, these creatures will come and destroy our holy blood. The blood given to us by God to rule these people as their God has only one enemy.

The devils children.

They are to be feared and not taken lightly. A natural enemy destined to spell our downfall unless tamed to work for us. They will take everything we have built, everything we have been given a right to have and burn it down to the ground.

Our devine bloodline will be slaughtered by them and the world will be littered with chaos. The devils children will run amuck and turn the paradise we have built for the world into their dirty playground.

Keeping a couple under our control is known to be our best course of action. Some devils are willing to work for us and betray their family because it is in their nature to do so. None are cunning enough to outsmart us so we can trust our underlings.

It will never change the fact that we still need to be weary when a new member of that family gains global attention. The world can never find out the secret of that family or we won't know who are the vermin and who are the devils children. It's one of the best kept secrets on both sides as the D. family doesn't want common people to know what their name means and we don't either.

It's the one unspoken agreed upon rule.

Every Celestial Dragon child knows of this. It must be engraved in their very souls so they can pass it on to the next generation of Celestial Dragons. The cycle is to go on and on until the end of time. We must take no chances.
