Waking up in the mornings became a task I dreaded. I fell asleep with the thoughts of Ace and his new family. Him kissing her instead of me. A freckle faced baby wrapped up in his loving arms.

It was torture.

Especially because he was the first thing I thought of when waking up. Wondering where Ace was and then remembering all that's transpired. How I'm on The Diamond Alliances' ship and staying in Killian's room. The plans on how to take them down from the inside out. It made me sick to my stomach but my minds already been set up on doing this. There's not much else to do here anyways.

I sat in front of his vintage golden vanity table with a mirror positioned in front of me. I finished up doing my hair in a more sexy style and decided on wearing a short leather dress that flared out half way down my hips and stopped right under my butt. The other women on board who were my size were coaxed by Killian himself to give me their clothes. It wasn't my typical style but I had to deal with it. I was a prisoner, I couldn't afford to get picky.

There's a gentle knocking on the door as I put on dangling black earrings. "Come in!" I put in the backings to make them not fall out.

The creaking of the door being opened and shut is heard. Looking into the mirror, I see Killian walking up behind me before taking a sharp left and rustling through his drawers. He pulls a necklace out from the many that entangled it and comes over to me. "I think this would suit you quite well."

The black jewels are cold against my neck as he places the jewelry over my head. I admire the way it looks and pretend not to notice the way his hand lingers on my collar bone, lightly tracing it. "You really are sweet. For a pirate holding me hostage that is."

"You were married to the most well known pirate on the seas. One would think he treated you right." Killian runs his hands up and down my shoulders so I need to fight a shudder of revulsion.

I couldn't ruin my image no matter what.

"He did. And before that, he was just a boy I grew up with." I look at him in the eyes through the mirror. "I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on in Rama Tara's mind." I say what seems to be an out of the blue observation. In reality it was perfectly timed and I want him to take the bait.

Killian raises an eyebrow and I knew he was going to fall head first into my trap. "And what's that?"

I look down mocking shyness. "I shouldn't say. I already said too much."

"No no." Killian tilts my head up to look at him. It's almost funny how desperate he was; trying to disguise it as sexual but his eyes spilled all and his own words betrayed him. "C'mon, tell me what you know."

"Well, you didn't hear it from me, but I heard some of the crew saying that Tara said she doesn't need you and they would do better and accomplish more under her leadership." I tentatively start off smirking on the inside. It's going to progressively get worse.

Killian waves that off. "I already knew that."

"And they were considering swearing allegiance with her. And not just two or three of them. Over sixty five percent of the alliance at least. Some even say she plans on disposing you with nothing after they trade me off."

"Disposing me?" He whispers to himself.

"They think you're incompetence is what leads them to failure every single time. That you're not strong enough and all you have is pretty words and women to collect suckers like them into joining."
