Our journey to the island was finally coming to the end. Right in front of us was our beautiful homeland overrun with trespassers. The Kuja already knew where to go so they didn't need my help with that. But I still needed to inform our allies of the plan because no matter how many times they insisted they were listening, I could tell they weren't.

I run over to the back of the ship to see the Whitebeard pirates all close to tears as they stared at the Amazon Lily. "Oh brother," I mutter to myself while hopping onto their deck. "Has anyone seen Ace?" I ask while standing up straight.

"He's in his room," one pirate responds, only to receive complaints from the others who didn't get to tell me first.

"Thanks!" I say and open the door to the cabins. Ace had the biggest one at the end of the hall. I spent many nights in there since it was impossible for us to act like a couple during the day. We only had the night as our shield from the outside world.

There's loud snoring coming from the room so I don't bother to knock. I head inside to see Ace sleeping on his bed. To most, Ace's sleeping would be revolting but to me, he looked so adorable. I just wanted to squish his little cheeks and squeal.

I sit on the side of his bed and push his hair that was in front of his face behind his ear. He was drooling a little and his mouth was open as the snores came out. I lean down to his ear and lightly shake him. "Ace. Wake up." I whisper.

"Mhm," he mumbles and cracks open an eye.

"Morning sleepy head, did you have a good rest?" I smile down at him and peck his lips.

"I did now." Ace opens up his other eye. He shuffles so he's sitting up and places his hand in mine.

"Your entire crew woke up the second we said the Amazon Lily was in sight. Do they have heightened hearing or something?" I question, confusion written all over my face.

Ace shakes his head no. "Nope. Just really good at hearing what they want to."

"But I said it on my ship... at the crack of dawn..."

"Yeahhh," he stretches one of his arms behind his head with his joints popping. "I wouldn't question it if I was you."

"Noted." I quickly reply. I didn't want to think about it anymore then necessary. "Well I was just going to tell you that we are going to sneak into the island and make sure your crew follows after us. It's important for them to know that they shouldn't go wandering into the island. Not only are there dangerous animals ready to kill them, but patrols searching for the remaining Kuja women."

"I got it. I'll make sure they don't go crazy and try to attack before we have all the information." Ace stands up from his bed and pulls me up with him. He pulls me in for a kiss which I happily respond to.

"I need to go tell Marco," I tell him while pulling away.

Ace places his hands on my shoulder to move me backwards and has me sit on his bed. I do so willingly but I'm confused by his actions.

"I can handle the rest from here. I know you haven't been sleeping lately so rest up. I'll wake you up once we reach the island." Ace clarifies with a reassuring squeeze to my shoulders.

I kick off my shoes and lay on my back without complaint. "And how do I know you won't join me?"

Ace wiggles his eyebrows suggestively. "Was that an invitation?"
