April's Pov
Once Y/n left I was about to leave to see the turtles. I told Y/n I was going to work to make sure she didn't get suspicious after all I knew she was catching on that I was hiding something. as I said bye to my mom, I headed out the door and went into an alleyway. I walked over to the manhole cover removed it and dropped down into the sewer I started heading to the lair and entered. I saw Leo sitting on the coach Mikey coloring and Raph watching TV I just assumed Donnie was in his room, as usual, working on some big sciencey project.
Leo looked up from his phone and saw me "Oh look guys April's here!" Raph and Mikey both looked at me "ApRIL!" they both said at the same time. "Hey, guys how's everything been?" Leo looked annoyed while getting up off the couch as he walked over to me and leaned on the lair entrance. "Well, Mr. Grumpy Don Tron is angry because I accidentally broke one of his sciencey tech things. When was I trying to show Mikey this awesome new skateboard trick I learned." I laughed a bit and then sighed "Leo I thought you would know better than to skate around Donnie's tech." Leo crossed his arms and made a pouting face "still it was an accident."
I shook my head and rolled my eyes at Leo and headed to sit next to Raph on the coach. "so April how have things been for you." Raph said with a warm smile on his face "things have been pretty good, work has been alright, and that normal friend I told you guys about YEAH she's still normal... well mostly. That last bit I mumbled under my breath "Wow six months and she hasn't turned out to be a villain yokai or any other weird stuff, y'know I bet she's really cute maybe we can meet her soon since you love to talk about her so much." Leo leaned on the doorway even more, with a big smirk on his face I rolled my eyes and knew what he was thinking. I just knew he was going to flirt his brains out when he met her.
"OmiGOSh could we meet her April could we really? I would have a new friend to color with and show my art to and bake with it would be so much fun" Mikey's face lit up with happiness as he spoke looking even more pure than usual
"Hold on guys let's not get ahead of ourselves she may be April's friend but she's still a human. she would probably get scared when she saw us, and can we really trust her to keep our secret?" Raph was now standing with his arms crossed with his serious face, looking at me.
"Well I know Y/n would be able to keep a secret and she wouldn't be that scared of you guys. Because both of us have run into mutants together even when she saw them for the first time she wasn't too scared. But I'm not sure if we should tell her yet either I don't know if it's too soon or not". "WAIT she's seen other mutants???!!!" Raph said while looking shocked "yeaahh I get into a lot of trouble you know me so she's seen her fair share of them" I looked over at Mikey his face was now in puppy dog eye mode and Leo walked over to me and did the same. "PlEAase ApRILL" Mikey whined, "Yeah PLeaasee April you know we don't have any other human friends and this would be great for us," Leo begged it was so hard to resist those puppy dog eyes from just one of them. but both of them it was absolutely impossible to say no to.
I looked at Raph to see if he approved and he sighed and nodded his head. "ok fine you can meet her she works at this pizza place 30 minutes from here, we can go in like an hour and I'll just tell her someone covered my shift for me ok?" both Mikey and Leo Screamed with joy "I'll impress her with my AmAZinG one-liners and awesome fighting skills" Leo said while smirking with his sword over his shoulders trying to show off. I laughed a little at that, Y/n was amazing at fighting probably a lot better than the brothers. since none of them really trained at all, and she did every day it would be pretty hard to impress her of all people.
"And I'll be best friends with her and teach her how to bake my favorite desserts OMIGOSH we can all sleep over it will be so FUUNN I'm so excited." "wait shouldn't we tell Donnie?" I knew Donnie would probably think its a horrible idea but he still deserved to know. "Don't worry I got itttt" Leo bolted to Donnie's room enough distance away for Donnie to hear him yell "HEY DONNIE WERE GOING TO SEE APRILS HUMAN FRIEND IN AN HOUR GET READY"
Donnie came out of his room "ScoFF I don't have time for such things I need to fix one of the projects I've been working on because SOMEONE decided to break it when he was doing a trick on the skate ramp." "Oh yeahhh sorry about that I guess you could say I was pretty ramped up" Donnie rolled his eyes and I giggled a bit at how stupid and cheesy Leo's joke was. "besides why are we meeting a human aren't we like mutants that would probably scare them?" I thought about it I knew Y/n was fine with the idea of mutants but we were meeting her at a pizza place. "Well, you all could were those hoodies like how Donnie has his purple one, Leo you could wear your blue and neon yellow one. We are meeting her at a pizza place she might not be scared but I think other people would be." "well like I said I'm not joining you," Donnie said arms crossed with that stubborn look on his face "Donatello you will come with us because I said so" I looked at him my face was determined and serious he stood there not saying anything for a while then sighed and rolled his eyes "Brilliance is not appreciated in this family apparently" he went back to his room and said that he would come "alright everyone go get ready we will take off in 45 minutes" everyone nodded as I texted Y/n

April O'Neil: Hey girl someone covered my shift
for me so I'm going to head to your work and stop by
with some friends that have been wanting to meet
you for a while now
It didn't take long for Y/n to respond it must not have been busy over there
