Normal Perspective:
A few days had passed since Smokescreen had arrived on Earth, and everyone at the base soon got used to his presence, but that didn't mean they all liked it.
Within those few days, it had been decided that he would take the last available berthroom in the base, the room of which had been cleaned out and set up for him.
Michael had told the rookie all about his past and true origins, which greatly fascinated the young Autobot, but he was also sympathetic to the loss of his family. The Techno-Organic also told him about his Keyblade and ocarina in more detail, explaining their origins and the powers they both held, even showing the objects themselves to him, which the rookie found amazing. He also told him about his beliefs and values, as well as his past adventures since his arrival, which the rookie found very admirable, and quickly found himself seeing the Techno-Organic as a role model in the same way he saw Optimus.
Unfortunately, this only seemed to fuel his desire to become one of greatness, which the others found annoying.
Michael also told him about his relationship with Bumblebee, and while the rookie was surprised, he warmly accepted it, but that didn't stop the white mech from asking him questions about it, some of which the young teen found to be quite embarrassing.
He also explained to the rookie about his counterpart, and about the Shattered Glass continuity as a whole, which both amazed him and made him slightly uncomfortable at the idea of it, and it also made Smokescreen think about if a counterpart of himself existed, and what he was like compared to himself.
The rookie also got along well with the humans, and quickly hit it off with Cliffjumper due to their similar personalities, as well as Bumblebee for their shared love for speed. However, Arcee, Ratchet, and Starscream were not so eager to get to know him due to his recklessness and overconfident nature, while Knockout warned him about scratching his paint, which the rookie couldn't help but feel tempted to do so just to see what would happen. Bulkhead was still jealous of him, and refused to get along with him, while Breakdown had no opinion of him at all.
So far, things seemed to be going well, but that was all about to change.
One night, at the former MECH base of which Project Chimera's prototype had been constructed, the MECH soldiers were working on a project to revive their leader, using Nemesis Prime's body, which they had been able to secretly steal back from the military, and had surgically fused Silas and Nemesis Prime together, with extensive modifications being given to the Optimus copy to accommodate its new purpose, along with the Autobot insignias being removed in the process, along with combining the spare parts Michael had stolen from Vehicons a while back to give Silas a means of being able to live, for MECH's former project wasn't sentient like real Cybertronians, making the entire body look even more like a scrap pile than it once had, especially with the repairs it required after the beating the bot took from Optimus, making it look even more like a twisted hunk of old iron, with it all coming together as the newly-formed cyborg awoke as his systems powered up through the means of infusing Energon and electricity into him.
His optics lit up yellow-orange and he looked around, seeing his remaining soldiers surrounding him.
"Welcome back, sir." The surgeon greeted.
Silas looked around at himself, surprised to find himself in Nemesis's body.
"What have you done?" He asked, not knowing why they did such a thing to him.
"What we needed to." The surgeon replied. "In order to save you, Silas."
"I'm... one of them..." Silas said, as the reality of it all finally sunk in.
