You bet he does. Jack smiled at her picking her up and spinning her around while the rest of us smiled and laughed with joy. We were so happy. Whoa wait you said she's your sister so how is that possible? Is she some kind of ghost?
I thought you said your little sister died a long time ago? Is she some kind of ghost? And if she is how is she here? We should probably start from the beginning. Jack said. I looked at him with fear in my eyes. The- the beginning? I questioned.
I swallowed hard at that thought. We're all here together it will be ok. You don't have to talk about anything you don't want to. He reminded me. As I reached over to pet my wolf friends with tears in my eyes.
Jamie go get Sophie. Jack said as he placed a hand on my shoulder while I turned away. She'll want to be here for this. If it is 4 years later from the movie and Sophie was probably like 2 or 4 she would probably be Mary's current age or slightly younger.
At the least she's probably 6 by now depending on how much age difference Jamie is to his sister but that didn't mean all parts of our story were to be told to little kids. Even if now Jamie is a teenager. We should still tell our story properly.
Jack confirmed once Jamie was out of the room. Why are you trying to be so proper now? It's not like we really ever were back in the day well we tried not to be that is. I held my head in my hands hunching over as I sat on the bed.
Which is another reason why my center is fun. Jack shoved my shoulder as he sat down next to me and Mary on the other side grabbing my arm while Jack pulled my head to his shoulder. We needed all the fun and joy we could get growing up.
Despite what our father wanted. Mom was never any kind of help not unless dad was working or away drinking somewhere. You're the guardian of courage you're more brave than you think but it's ok to feel sad ok to feel a little bit of fear.
It's courage that helps people move past those things. To help them be brave. It wasn't much longer after that that Jamie and Sophie came into the room. Jack said we were gonna tell them a story. Jack started the story how it had been a long time ago.
There was a boy named Jack and he had a twin sister named Farrah. Having twins was a rare thing as most mothers died after giving birth to their children without the medical help we have now. At first everything was fine.
But Jack was the only boy next to his father. Especially after their sister was born 4 years later. And both the siblings loved her with all their hearts. But women couldn't work and only the men did that. Having two daughters made things difficult.
But the boy grew up and didn't waste anytime making his siblings have fun and taking care of them. He played tricks on them and swung from branches of trees and caused all kinds of mischief. But everyone was happy. At least out in public.
And for a time in their lives they all were. But as it turns out no one knew what happened behind closed doors not even the older daughter's brother and sister. I picked up where he left off after he said that we were happy. Happiness doesn't last forever.
Especially when his eldest daughter was more of a tomboy and didn't want to act or dress like a woman and women didn't have rights and they were supposed be seen and not heard and do whatever men told them to do.
We were never sure what changed or why or when. Maybe it had to do with the fact she acted this way and her father was the person who founded where they lived. The only thing women were good for was to take care of the children and the home.
We were supposed to marry young and have lots of children and hope for a lot of boys to do the labor in the fields. You never married for love and were married off as early as 13. It was usually for trade or combine powerful families or to keep from war from happening.
