Dustin opens the door and walks in with the food that we bought Eddie
"Jesus!" Eddie exclaims
"Delivery service!" Dustin saids
"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news." Dustin saids as Eddie is eating the chips that we bought him "How do you prefer it?"
"Bad news first, always." Eddie saids
"All right. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you. Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you killed Chrissy."
"Like, 100% kind of convinced." Max saids
"And the good news?" Eddie asks
"Your name hasn't gone public yet. But if we found out about you, it's only a matter of time before others do. And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you." Robin saids
"Hunt the freak, right?" Eddie saids
"Exactly."
"Shit"
"So, before that happens, we need to find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence." Dustin explains
"That's all, Dustin? That's all?" Eddie asks
"Yeah, no, that's pretty much it."
"Listen, Eddie, I know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been though this before. I mean, they have a... a few times, and... and I once. Mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related, but bottom line is, collectively, I really feel like we got this." Robin saids
"We usually rely on two girls who have super powers. But, uh, one of them, those went bye-bye, so...."
"So we're technically in more of the-"
"Kinda..."
"Brainstorming phase" Max saids
"Brainstorming." Steve saids and snaps his fingers at Max
"There's nothing to be worried about" I said "Me, having my powers and still being in this town, we...we'll be fine"
"Wait you have powers?" Eddie saids pointing his finger to which I nod. I then make a lighting rods come out of my hands and they form a ball. I then throw it out into the lake and makes quite a big splash. And I wipe the blood under my nose
"Yeah, powers" I turn to everyone looking at me with wide eyes "What, I've been practicing"
We then here sirens heading this way
"Shit" Steve saids
"Tarp." Robin saids "Tarp, Tarp" Eddie then pulls the tarp over himself and we all run to the window to see police, and an ambulance drive right by. We all run out of the building and get in Steve's car. We then follow the cars we pull up to the crime scene to see Nancy being questioned by the chief. We all get out and see Nancy looking at us. Nancy waves at Steve to which he waves back and the jealousy pit rises again after one little wave
We are now at the trailer park on a bench "So, you're saying that this thing that killed Fred and Chrissy, it's from the upside down?" Nancy asks from across me
"If the shoe fits" Steve says looking at Nancy to which it looks like he can't get his eyes off of her
"Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell or a curse...Now whether or not he's doing the bidding of the Mind Flayer or just loves killing teens, we don't know." Dustin saids
"All we know is this is something different. Something new." Max saids
"It doesn't make sense." Nancy saids
