Sandro's POV
I leaned my back on the sofa and rest my head on it.
I close my eyes, shutting down all of my worries.Hiraya...
I feel that it is not good. Is this the consequences she said before?
I don't know. She is so hard to read. She is so complicated. I opened my eyes and look around the house.
Bakit ang tahimik? Maya-may'y narinig kong parang may kaaway si Vinny. I stand up and head towards the garden where I hear his voice.
"I told you not to go there. Look what you did." I hear Vinny's frustrated voice.
"Ang kulit mo."
I saw him walking back and fourth while his phone is on his ear.
"What's the matter?" I asked.
"Nothing. May makulit lang na ayaw sumunod sa'kin-"
"Hello?... Are you still there?..." He look at his phone's screen. He sighed and he's overly frustrated.
I chuckled. This is the first I saw him like this.
"Good for you." Sabi ko.
"What's good with that?"
"Anyway, you don't have work today?"
"Meron. May important papers lang akong kinuha."
He suddenly stare at me. 'Yong tingin na parang may gustong itanong na ayaw isaboses.
"Spill it, bro." I said chuckling.
Sumandal sya sa wall and he crossed his arms over his chest.
"What's going on between you and Hiraya?"
"Napapansin ko na super close na kayo toward each other."
Tumawa ako.
"We were that close ever since, Vinny."
He shook his head in disapproval.
"What I meant is... gaya na lang nito... I always caught you looking at her in a different way... what I meant in different way is... you look at her lovingly."
In-action nya pa 'yong last sentence. Natawa ako. Naalala ko tuloy si Dad.
"We're just friends."
"Wehhhh. There's a big difference in friends and lovers, bro."
"Just say it." He insist.
I looked at my phone screen.
"I don't have nothing to say. Gotta go. Bye!"
"Your secret is safe with me." He said while wriggling his eyebrows. I just tap his shoulder before leaving him alone.
I CAN'T find Hiraya when I arrived at the capitol. I can't find her friends too.
Then suddenly I saw Joshua, he salute when he saw me.
"Did you saw... Hiraya?" I was so hesitant to ask her whereabout.
"...Nasa police station po, Sir."
Tinignan nya ako na may pagtataka.
"Nothing." I said at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.
"Hiraya is requesting for change of location, Sir." He said.
I looked at him.
"Why?"
"I don't know the reason, Sir."
"Where?"
"Manila, Sir. In Malacañang."
"Hiraya!" I shouted her name.
Nagulat sya ng makita ako.
Patakbo akong lumapit sa kanya.
We stared at each other's eyes.
"You already knew?" She asked.
"What's the exact vision you saw?"
Bumitaw sya ng tingin.
"Let's head back to the capitol, Sir." She said at handa na akong iwanan pero pinigilan ko sya.
"Hiraya."
She look at me again at agad din na umiwas.
"Please..."
I saw her fidgeting her palm.
"Okay, I won't force you-"
"They are in danger, Sandro." She said it while looking directly into my eyes.
I step back a little.
"The reason why I wanted to change location because I have to prevent what will happen."
My mouth is open and close. I can't slip a words.
"I can't just stay here without doing anything... I never saw when it would happen."
I looked down absorbing the words she just said.
I looked at her again and saw the pain in her eyes.
Patawad sa magulong buhay ko, Hiraya.
Nilunok ko ang nagbabara sa lalamunan ko.
"Kailan ka pupunta ng Manila?" I asked.
"Sa lalong madaling panahon."
