~ 2 days after the Battle of Hogwarts, 6 weeks before Tom's rebirth ~

"And so, that's my whole truth." I finish explaining my pasts to Fred and George, both of them having spent the entire 8 hours of my explaining interrupting me nonstop. "Can you understand why I didn't tell you when we were younger?"

"I'm just amazed you're like 60 years old but still an immature git, just like us." Fred says with a wink at me.

"I'm just happy to know why you kept calling out only for Freddie boy during the war." George says with mock offense. "I was beginning to think you didn't love me anymore." I shoved his shoulder at his comment.

"You gits." I grin at them both.

I finally told them everything, which I honestly had planned to do this a few years ago but I was so caught up in the Tournament and then NEWTs and then my horcrux hunting that I never got around to it. But after having to out myself on the spot to Dumbledore with both of them standing there, and then bringing George back from the brink of death, they both needed a proper explanation. Their thousand sarcastic and witty comments during my story time certainly were entertaining, even if it did make it take all day to tell them about my pasts.

"Soooo..." Fred says, drawing out the word and giving me a look. "Still doesn't explain how you bloody fell for the mini You-Know-Poo."

"I didn't fall for..." I cover, a blush creeping on my cheeks as I fight a laugh at his joke.

"No, seriously, you're choosing a snake over Charlie?" George asks mockingly, though I can see genuine confusion in his eyes.

"I'm not... choosing. There might not be a choice. I don't know how he... or how I... ugh, table this discussion for now!" I groan out, unable to articulate my feelings right now. "Look, I know what happened there during the end of the war. The white light, overcoming darkness and evil with a pure and powerful form of magic. I know what caused it... I just can't admit it yet, ok? What if the body transfer fails? What if he doesn't feel that way? What if he's been long term lying to me for 5 years, what if what if what if?" I rant out and they turn sincere, each of them grabbing one of my shoulders to calm me down.

"Relax, love, we won't pester again." George says sincerely.

"At least not until after the bloke's revived. Then we're taking the micky out of you." Fred adds on cheekily.

"How is Charlie doing?" I ask after a moment. "I saw him towards the end of the battle, but he left soon after, right?"

"Ah yes, Charlie boy had to get back to his one true love." Fred says solemnly.

"Maybe you two shan't be destined for each other, you'd have to slay a dragon in order to win the fair male-den's heart." George adds in with complete sincerity. "Of course, then he'd hate you forever for harming a dragon."

"But slaying a dragon sounds like a fun challenge." I contemplate seriously, already developing battle plans to do it. "And I did just set one free, maybe I could go hunt it down? Oh, it would be quite the feat to have on my rec-"

"I knew you set that dragon free!" Fred points an accusatory finger at me at my confession. "You broke into Gringotts!"

"Without us!" George adds in offense.

"To be fair!" I shout over them, getting their attention before they go off on a tangent. "I did also break into Durmstrang without you." I smirk smugly at them and they launch into more yelling of disbelief.
