Tom and I moved into our new place the day after Harry went back to school. Dad went all out with a feast for us, and we spent the night telling oh so embarrassing stories all about me growing up. He was attempting to sway Tom to not want to live with me, and Remus was just enjoying being savage. Remy's always the secret dark horse in everything so it was absolutely a mistake for all of us to have firewhiskey and tell stories. Tom, the sneaky snake that he is, was handing all his drinks to me since he doesn't like the taste or the feeling of being drunk, so he was painfully sober, meaning he will remember the stories clearly. I may or may not have jumped in with my own stories to roast myself at some point during the evening thanks to the extra alcohol.

We didn't necessarily think ahead about our sleeping arrangements in the new flat before we moved. We had set up the living room and the main bedroom, making the second bedroom into a guest room before we both sat there after and silently realized we never talked about sharing a bedroom. Both of our belongings just ended up naturally in the main bedroom.

We haven't yet shared a bed or moved our intimate moments beyond kissing. I haven't wanted to rush him, I know he's still getting used to everything, both emotionally and physically, so I've been letting him set the pace of our relationship for now.

"Darling." Tom calls out to me after cleaning away our teacups after we relaxed from moving in our new living room. I hum in acknowledgement and smile sleepily at him from the new couch. "It's um... well it's time for bed."

"Yeah?" I ask in confusion, not knowing where his train of thought is going or why he looks uncertain.

"We never talked about where we would sleep." He says quietly, glancing over at our master bedroom door.

"What, like you want the left side of the bed? Or the right?" I ask, still not following since I'm fatigued from unpacking, even if most of it was done with magic. "I'm fine with either. Honestly I'll likely just end up sleeping on top of you like a starfish, so uh... sorry about that in advance." I grin at the end to him.

"So we are sharing a bed?" He asks, relief in his tone but it's restrained.

"Well, yeah?" I sit up a bit at that. "Thought that was kind of the point of moving in together." I smirk at him, finally catching on to his thought process. "That amongst other things." I purr out lowly as I stand and take his hands. "No pressure though." I kiss his cheek softly as I move past him to get into our new bedroom, leaving him frozen in surprise in the living room.

I make it almost to the wardrobe before I hear his feet take action and he moves quickly into the bedroom. I barely get a smile onto my face before he grabs me around the waist and sweeps me into his arms, spinning me around as he moves us towards the bed.

"I'm more than ready for this, Darling." Tom says breathily after several moments of heated kisses.

"I am too, my love." I smile at him, and allow him to set the pace. It's his first time, I want him to allow himself to feel this moment naturally, only guiding where needed.

He didn't end up needing any guidance at all though. Some things, like being an amazing lover, just come naturally for him. We laid in each other's arms after, our legs entangled together, and both of us even more in love with the other after being together in the most intimate of ways. We are now a true and proper couple, living together and sharing our dreams and goals with one another, and our love is filled with both passion and sincerity.

"Good luck on your first day, try not to rob the bank again now that you're employed there." Tom smirks at me as he kisses my cheek before we both are getting ready for work. He takes the Floo Network to the Ministry while I will have a short walk to the bank.
