I took a few days to calm down and relax after the whole Dolohov... murdering fiasco. Not exactly one of my finest moments, and it was making me upset with myself. Tom, Dad and Remus were helping to cheer me up, but it was a day spent with Fred and George that really helped get me back to feeling better.

I did some more research on how to start to counter the darkness that seems to spread quickly in me when I use dark magic or kill in this world. As much as I think I can handle anything, I have to remember that magic can have a mind of its own at times, and apparently with my mind, magic gives into my darkness very swiftly when I use darker magic or actions. The solution and counter was obvious after some research, I have to counter the dark with light. Thankfully, I'm surrounded by a lot of light, especially with the twins. So a day spent with them before doing something where I know I'll use dark magic should help to balance me.

It was May 30th now, and seemed a perfect day to rob a bank.

"Be safe, Princess." Dad says fearfully, holding me tight as I'm about to enter Gringotts. "Moony and I will be right up here in case you need a distraction. Just use these odd... ear things you got us? What are they again?"

"Communicators." I explain again with a chuckle. "Dad, I told you like eight times. You really suck at knowing your muggle stuff."

"Alright, Ms. Shadow, enough sass." Remus cuts in with a weak smirk, but he's still really worried. "Let's get this done and over with."

"My thoughts exactly!" I say cheerily, giving him a quick hug as well. "Alright, I should be back out within the hour. Either on my own... Or riding a friend. If I'm not back in three hours, I failed the mission and am trapped." I hand over my pouch with the diary, giving it over to Dad to hold onto this time. "Just... keep him safe for me, just in case. Please."

"I'll keep the stupid evil diary safe, Princess, you have my word." Dad says mockingly, bowing theatrically to me as he takes the pouch. I roll my eyes at him, but give the pouch one last worried look. Dad catches the look and softens his mocking tone at me. "I promise." He says more sincerely while he puts the pouch around his neck safely, and I nod to him in thanks.

The plan is for Dad and Remus to be upstairs while I rob the place. Remus will be outside watching perimeter, but ready to stop any Death Eaters from entering the bank. Dad will be inside the bank, talking to a goblin about setting me up with a new vault, which should take about an hour or so of conversation. He'll actually be waiting to hear if I need a distraction, or be able to see if the goblins have figured out I'm robbing them and be able to alert me. I already tested if muggle technology and gear works inside of the bank when I took my last trip down here, so I'm set and ready to go.

I slip on the invisibility cloak before walking in after Dad, and then branch off from him. It takes me several minutes of staring intently at each of the goblins until I find one of the ones I'm looking for. I find Bragrast first, the same goblin who helped me on my first visit to the bank, helping a random wizard out in exchanging currency. I wait until he's done, and then cast my spell on him.

"Imperio." I whisper, holding my wand to his head. I watch the blank, vacant expression take over his normally bitter face, and I know I've got him trapped. I don't like using this spell, it's soaked in dark magic and I don't want to constantly be using dark magic since I think it's making me more evil, but for today, this is necessary. So far, I can't feel any extra darkness after putting him under my control, but I'm going to keep a closer eye on it.

'You want to visit the Lestrange Vault for inspection.' I order out to the goblin, repeating the order several times before he finally starts to move. Bragrast grabs a device of some type from under his desk and walks dreamily over to one of the carts, and I climb in after him. It's going exceedingly well to plan so far, but I knew this was the easier part.
