Waking up next to Catra will always be special to me. There is just something about seeing her completely relaxed with the quietest purr, that makes my Heart melt from cuteness.
It takes me back to my Childhood that, while not good by any means, had her in it like the single light in the darkness.
Scrunching her Face as she wakes up, Catra says "are you really watching me sleep, creeper?"
"ohh someone is shy all of a sudden" i tease and start to move my hands under the Blanket towards her.
"Pff no im no..." she didn't get to finish the sentence because i started tickling her, making her Body contort and laugh like a hyena "S...Stop Adora ahaha you gonna re---regret that y--you blonde b----bimbo" i stop and rush out of the Bed, to escape the retaliation but all Catra does is glare at me "Urghh i hate you"
"no you don't"
We get dressed and walk through the Maze that she called Home towards the Kitchen. Catras' style was always on point. She was wearing a black Slayer Tank Top and ripped jeans... simple yes but she looked absolutely stunning.
"Waffles?" she asks me
"i have been called worse" i answered, still looking at her before I snapped out of it "sounds good" I added hastily "did...did i just check her out? what is wrong with me?" i think, while she tells someone what we want to eat
When she comes back she gives me a lookover "i would love to lend you some clothes but..." she touches my upper Arm "....i doubt my wardrobe can handle your 'Guns' "
I can feel my face getting hot before i say "y...yeah no prob" I look at the clock that read 06:22 which was far too early. "I'll drop by at my place to change before school don't worry"
"good to know you care about your looks a bit more" she scoffs and before i can rebuttal, our food gets delivered.
I look down at a Plate with 3 huge Belgian Waffles with syrup and butter on top and whatever i was thinking about left my Brain and was replaced with hunger.
After the First bite of sweet deliciousness i look at Catra "Thatf it im moven in heer"
"haha while I would love that, i doubt that would work....i mean it would, until Mara drags you home" we both laugh and finish our Breakfast with a cup of Coffee.
As I was about to leave I asked her "Want a ride to school?"
"I thought you'd never ask" she says with a smirk, grabbing a Leather jacket and her Backpack from the Hanger beside the Door.
We get in my Jeep and drive to my home "want to wait or come in? i'm just gonna be like 5 minutes so your choice"
"hmm nah i'll stay here and listen to music" i just shrug and walk up to my Home
"Hey mom, im home" i shout but receive no answer. Mara must be at work, so i figured i text her a quick 'got home safe, gonna change and go to school. Have nice day mom :)' and get something to wear. I decide on something casual, a white crop top with Stars on it, some jeans i found laying around and a blue button flannel Shirt i leave open
Hearing my phone peep the sound of a message i see Mara had sent me 'good to know. I'm at work and can't talk right now. Remember you got work today. see you later honey, love you'
Fuck...i forgot about work today..oh well good that Mara reminded me. I get back to my Car "took you long enough. Hey, you wanna hang out after school? I kind of have nothing to do"
"ohh someone can't get enough of me" i say, with a grin
"pff get over yourself Beefcake.....i'm just bored and you are easy entertainment"
