Catras POV:
I am walking along the old, decraped, wooden Floors late at night to go to the Bathroom we all share. Sharon was asleep in front of the TV, bottles of Liquor and Beer littered all around the Room
For some reason i wanted to turn the TV off and grabbed the remote when she suddenly takes my wrist and twists it, painfully
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" she shouts loud enough to wake the whole house
"I'm sorry i ..i just wanted to turn the TV off i wasn't going to.." a slap silences me
"You do as i tell you, ungrateful little bitch"
She gets up and drags me to the front Door but before she can do anything it opens and Adora walks in. Adora the 16 year old, her Hair down and in her Training outfit
"What are you doing?" Sharon screeches, trying to hit Adora, who catches her hand effortlessly
"Killing a Monster" Adora says, grabbing Sharon by the neck and lifting her up until i hear an audible 'snap' that makes me close my eyes
When I open them next, i am in Adoras room but still a child, Adora kneeling in front of me.
She cups my Face "I will never again, let anyone hurt you Catra...Catra..Cat..."
I wake up and see Adoras face in front of me again with worried eyes
"Hey....you were screaming in your sleep and suddenly stopped ...how do you feel? "
I get up and see i slept on the couch, my Memory only slowly coming back to me
"hmmm...bit better..i think"
I actually mean that. I feel ...better, lighter, like a weight was lifted from me and i am not sure what it is, that makes me feel this way.
Mara joins us and sets Plates with breakfast in front of us on the Coffee Table. She sits beside me on the couch and feels my Forehead "Good....we can skip the Doctor visit. Your Fever has gone down but its still not completely gone"
"Im sorr..." i couldn't finish saying it
"I have heard that enough Catra" says Mara, stern but not angry "what i want to hear about, are those" and she drags my sleeve up just enough to see the Claw marks
I look at Adora in panic but she just gives me a sad smile "she ..knew already" i think and deflate, letting my shoulders hang
"I ...i started to ...with my Claws" i say, not sure if i even should....yet the voices were silent "I think...i need help"
"Then you will get help. No matter what" says Adora, softly laying her Hand on mine
The doorbell rings and Mara gets up to get it
"Catra...can you please promise me something?" asks Adora
"wh...what?" i couldn't look into her eyes since her Hand touched mine and i didnt move either
"Never Hurt yourself again...i'm begging you" Adoras voice cracks in the end, making me feel a pang of regret in my Chest
"I...i promise" i mean it but doubt myself at the same time
Mara and someone i don't know join us in the living Room.
"Catra, this is Angella, the principal of Bright Moon High and Glimmer's mother. I called her here to talk to you about your....Family situation"
