Catras POV:
After we arrived at the Twins mansion, Miho proved she was prepared for the worst, even going so far to arrange for us something like a Field Hospital with fully fledged Surgeons and Physicians. Mirai had called her when she couldn't reach us anymore and made sure they had everything ready for the worst Case. After a lot of Work, they finally got Rogelio Stable enough to say he'd pull through but Adoras injury was a different matter and much harder to operate apparently. Rogelio had gotten lucky with a straight shot through and the main worry was loss of Blood....but Adoras Stomach still carries the Bullet, which makes a whole list of things a risk for her Life. Infection, Sepsis, after bleeding that we have no equipment to detect....so many things can go wrong with that. Going to the Hospital was our final option but how do we explain this?
By the time we pulled up, Rogelio, Flutterina and Adora had all passed out, with Rogelios Face losing color rapidly

Sitting outside the Room that had become the temporary Hospital, for i don't know how long, with Li, all the what if's run through my Head
"What if Adora really dies? What if she can't walk anymore? What if she hates me now after i got her shot?"
The last thought makes me remember how agitated Adora was on our way back...but im not stupid or self loathing enough anymore to believe that. She got shot and was angry because I got between her and that Octavia Woman. I know she hates when I protect her since it reminds her too much of our past with Shadow Weaver but I doubt that will ever change. "I do not regret it....i only regret not doing it before you got shot" i think and feel Tears gather in my Eyes
Li looks at me in confusion and i pat her Head lightly "I wish you could understand me, little one...but maybe its better you have no idea what is happening right now"
The Room was bustling with all kinds of noises that put me more and more on edge. Suddenly a hand lands on my shoulder and i have just enough time to sheathe my Claws when i recognize Sabrina's voice "Hey....they are going to be okay"
"...you don't know that"
"I don't ...but i can hope" she says and sits down beside me "Miho wanted a Word but i told her that she would need a SWAT Team to get you to move from this Room right now...at least until you know Adora is save"
"She can wait....thanks tho. I don't know what i am supposed to do"
"You wait...that's the hardest part I know. I ...never got to thank you, for all you done for me Catra"
"Ha...don't mention it. Adora realized that you were...have a lot more in common with us than I thought and wanted to help...as she always does."
"Still, Thank you both...i mean that"
With Sabrina as a much needed distraction, time accelerates without me really realizing it and we talk for quite a while "so how are things with Mirai?"
The name alone makes the Redhead flinch "Good? i mean why would't..."
"you know what i'm asking here" i say with a slight smirk
"yeah but ämm...it's not that easy. I am very lucky that Miho let me even stay here for now and ....we kind of have yet to talk about ...that"
"You are shitting me.....how can you still just wait around? Just tell her what you feel and either date or reject her....either one is better than to let her remain in this uncertain, vague flirty relationship"
"I know i know but im new to this okay...dating someone i actually have feelings for is entirely different than what i've been doing the whole time"
"hmmm" i say with a smile, being reminded of how Adora was when she just came out to me
