Chapter 42 : Krytis

Catras POV:

The next morning was a mess. People running all over the place, trying to get everything sorted and ready for our flight. DT booked it so that we are going to arrive at around midday and he already sent someone to sniff out Primes Hideout. Adora woke up with me and got to fixing the chaos like it was a reflex for her. She always wants to help somebody and I truly admire her for that, as long as she does not forget to turn down the whole "self sacrificing" thing.

I am well aware that we can't keep this sort of life up for much longer. Adora and I both talked to the College Dean and explained our long absence with "Family trouble" so he might look away for a bit...but this ain't high School and time is running out fast. If we let Prime slip through our fingers now, who knows where he'll show up next

Escaping the chaos, i walk over to Luke who watches it all with a bemused smile "Morning Catra"

"hmmm morning...the fucks going on?"

"Oh you know, DT and Lonnie woke up with a Firecracker up their Ass. They need this all going smooth so we can catch the Plane"

"You talk like you ain't to worried"

"I tried to help and Lonnie threatened to kick my ass so i'm standing here and watching them figure it out" he says laughing "Also, looks like your Girl got it handled" he adds, looking at Adora shouting at Kyle to move his Ass

"She looks sexy when she's in control" i think to myself but notice that i said it out loud

"You really can't help yourself, can you 'sis'? "Luke says with a smirk

I punch his shoulder "I told you not to call me that....'bro' " i say with a grin and walk away from him and ask Adora if she needs help

The flight was nothing too bad even though Adora looked awful the whole way on it. She only told me that she had a small fear of flying when we were already halfway there "Why would you not tell me this?"

"Bec-because i....its stupid"

"Fear is stupid? It's the most primal Human emotion and we all have our own, babe. I have an unnatural fear of Water you know about so why is fear of flying stupid?"

"Because you have a reason for that, i don't...i hate looking so weak in front of you since it will only reinforce you wanting to throw yourself in front of me again" she admits with her Head over a throw up bag, desperate to hold it back

"Adora..." i rub her back slowly "i do that because I would rather die than see you in harm's way. I will never see you as weak. You are the strongest Person i ever met and just seeing you get sick a bit, is not going to change that"

She gives me a weak smile and i stop by a Flight attendant to get her something that might help

After leaving the Airport and arriving at the Rental House DT got for us, Luke suddenly stops as we are about to walk in. He was listening in on Prime the whole time it seems "they are on the way. Prime is currently on route here"

Sabrina and Mirai were, as planned, already on the stakeout. They would report once they find his hideout but so far we heard nothing "Hope they didn't miss him because they got....busy" i think with a giggle

Setting the duffel bag on the table, DT turns to us with a devilish smile "now then. Let's begin operation D-A-R-L-A"
