Catras POV

My instincts are never wrong and I trust them implicitly. When DT and Adora came to wake me up, i was not expecting anything to bad but after they told me what they discussed, Alarms started going off in my Head

"Adora can't mean that right? She's giving up her Life, her Future and just to help DT? No ...for me?" i think

"I am against this" i state dryly "You never wanted any of this Adora and right now you are studying Sports Medicine so i don't see this as something that's going to help your Future"

"Catra, I never knew what I wanted. I picked Sports medicine because it seemed logical but i don't think i even like it all that much."

"So do you still not know what you want?" i ask her, crossing my arms above my Chest

"I...may have half figured out" Adora answers, seemingly embarrassed

"I can't believe you can even consider this Adora...you really want to throw away years of your life for a fight that isn't yours to fight?"

"Why isn't it?"

"Because you are not a Hybrid?"

"But i'm in love with one so why isn't it mine to fight if i can?"

"Tha...that's not the same"

"So i'm not allowed to fight for something I believe is right, just because it takes some time?"

"YEARS ADORA ...stop talking like this is a few months and we can go back to our lives"

"Children, children please calm down" DT says "Jeez its like im looking at 12 year olds"

"Like this whole shity idea issn't your fault, Gekko" I tell them, getting annoyed

They look at me "Careful Kitten...you know what that words means to me and you really do not want to use it in the heat of the moment, just because you are pissed"

I stop myself just in time, not wanting to piss them off further. DT explained to me that the very first ones that took them in when they were just a child would call them Gekko and the hatred of this, fueled a lot of DT's determination. They now use the Name only as a 'Shits gone down' synonym or when they need a convenient fake name

"The fact that i'm telling you this, not making this decision without your input, should tell you how important this is Catra" Adora says

"I know but ....why does it have to be you Adora?"

"I told you there is no one better Kitten and i think i explained that well"

They did and my arguments are running thin. I hate this but i have to admit DT is right. I am reminded of the first time I watched Adora at her job. Adora has a natural charm and the talent to command authority when she wants to. That would make her a good candidate ....but the thought that she only does this for me and endangers herself in the process is something i hate thinking about

"When ...would this start?" i ask

"Officially after she finishes College but we are going to start a lot sooner with teaching her what she needs to know" DT says rather nonchalant "also...i want you to work with her but not officially like Adora"

"So I would do the same work without the pay?" i ask with a smirk

"No of course you are both getting money for this and a lot more than you might think" they say, finally finished with Breakfast "If my plan works even just half as good as i have in my mind, neither one of you will need to work if you don't want to but on the surface you can't work for me Kitten...it could destroy everything we are trying to archive here"
