Chapter 45 : Worth (Epiloge)

Narrator POV:

In the aftermath of Primes death a lot had to be done.

Lonnie took over most of Primes organization and started to rework its purpose to secure a better Future for Orphans and abused Children, like she and DT had planned. Officially she worked for DT as "Head of Human Resources" but someone had to take care of the Shadowy side of the Business and she was the easy choice, being Primes only "Child". She still ruled with an Iron Fist and had, more than once, resorted to violence to suppress a few Coup d'État. In the Years after Prime, she rekindled her Friendship with Adora and Catra over many Jobs for DT, going out to drink with them and in the end was Adoras best Man at her Wedding. The Blonde had given Lonnie a chance for redemption and she took it like her life depended on it. Rogelio and Kyle moved in with her after they started working for DT and from what they told the others, things are going well....to the real nature of their relationship, no one but them knows.

Sabrina went back to her Father and slammed every bit of truth in his face. After all she had done to help, DT gave her everything she asked for and she was sure to put it to use. Rumors say that her Fathers face, to this Day, remains in a state of shock when she told him she was dating Mirai. Her Mother had already left the country and her father by this point. Sabrina changed her major to Law and would later come to be known as "The Bulldog" whenever she entered a Courtroom

Mirai focused a lot more on her Underground Racing career. With the support of her Mother (and Father who had returned from overseas) she embraced who she was in every way. Less and less of the meek, passive young Girl was left after a few years and, if you ask her why, she would always say "when you are dating Sabrina, you can't be meek or she'll steamroll you" always with a bright smile

Kako started to work for her Mother right out of College. Her passion for Art and Design led her to excel in the Field and after just 7 years, she had her first Prêt-à-porter Designs hanging in Stores, without her mothers help, mind you. Her Fame came with a lot of hard work but she would always have time when Mirai's name would pop up on her Phone, no matter what. The sisters remained in close contact even when they were , at times, far apart. While it has been only rumors so far, she is very close to a Male model who once begged to walk for her line when they met by coincident in a Show her mother held in Paris

Crystal finished her College and returned to the States to be closer to her sister. She had missed her Family only when she had been away for a few years and now started to look for work over there. With her Sister becoming more and more confident to be who she was, they moved in together to save money. Times were tough and with her Sister losing her job after a few years, things didn't look good for them until a sudden Letter arrived. "From an old Friend, for a Session i truly needed" with a note that had a Phone number on it. When Crystal read the Name Adora Carrero signed on the bottom, she pulled out her Phone and was about to complain to her old Friend but all she heard was
"I believe i still owe you lunch, right? Let's do that whenever you have time...bring your sister, i'd love to meet her" as soon as Adora took the call.
"You...how..why?" was all the young Woman could stutter before Adora laugh lightly
"I see I finally made you speechless...are you free? Im sending you someone to pick you up". The two Sisters got picked up, flown to Mystacor and led to a giant Skyscraper in the upper City. In a top floor Office, Adora and Catra greeted them like family "We take care of good people here" Catra says to a crying Crystal. Later on, they both moved to Bright Moon City when Crystal was hired by Catra herself as her Personal psychiatrist "Believe me, you will have work for a looong time"

Melog started to work for DT in a more official sense....but not officially. With Catra being a close silent partner, handling the more on route contacts with Hybrids to build trust far easier, Melog became her Secretary and after a year even close friend. The young talent would never claim to be anything un ordinary and on their last day working with her he would casually shake her Hand, walk over to open the door and bow slightly "It was an honor working with you Ms Carrero" which would be answered with a whispered "likewise, Melog. Thank you for your impeccable service over the years"
