A few days have passed since our meeting with Luke, Lonnie and DT and i'm still very much unsure of the whole Plan to be honest. Catra and i talked about it a lot and came to the conclusion to not think about it until the actual day would happen, to not freak us out even more than necessary.
I am currently waiting for the half Cat in a small Café with Mermista who goes on and on about her Band and how she loved Bows talent and that she would love to have him as a permanent member, even tho he already declined since his own classes were getting more demanding ect ect
Just when i am about to change the Topic, i feel something akin to hostility behind me and reach out before the Hand, that was about to touch my shoulder, can reach me
"Wow....okay you are a jumpy one aren't you blondie?" says Sabrina, shocked i noticed her
Releasing her Hand, I sigh "What do you want 'Queen Hypocrite'?"
"I...urghh can we talk?" she says, flinching at the insinuation
I tell Mermista that i'm gonna need a minute and follow the Red haired Woman a bit away from the Café "So what you wanna lie....talk about?" i say while crossing my arms
"You know damn fucking well what i wanna talk about Adora Carerro. You ....know" she says, in a whisper shout and with a beet-red face
"hmmm that you are secretly Gay, Bi or Pan, terrified who knows, under pressure from your Parents and hide all of it under the Veil of Homophobia? Yeah.....has not slipped my mind i have to admit"
Her Face becomes a Smaugusboard of emotions "Wha....No i...you can't ju...NO!" Sabrina holds out her Hand with her Head to the ground, indicating that she needs a second "I...am not Gay....but you apparently need to be convinced of that so i would like a talk with you and....her, before you spread something that is not true"
I am so not in the mood for her denial but i know how it feels to be in it, even without ever knowing the Fear that must possess her with her Parents' pressure added to it. I sigh "Fine...when and where?"
She flashes her Smartphone into my Face, showing my Number that i never gave her "I call you"
"So you want to talk and you think we're just gonna drop everything once you call us? Fuck no. You want something? Call and ASK if we have time for you and maybe we do"
Hearing a 'No' was clearly not something Sabrina was accustomed to "wha....urghh Fine, have it your way Blondie" Sabrina says, whips her Hair around and leaves, away from the Café.
Back at Mermistas Table, a now very tired looking Catra lay her Head with DT just beside her, showing me one of their biggest Smiles
"Hey Adora, you will never guess what Kitten has promised me" DT says, their smile turning wider and a bit evil. Catra let out a audible 'Urgghhhh'
I give her a kiss on the Cheek "What did the evil Lizard do to you, babe?" she wordlessly hands me a Flyer for a Theatre Night that would premiere in a few weeks on Campus called 'Our Kind' "Oh...no"
"Ohh yes. I'm the Producer and Stage Manager of this little number and your Girl has graciously...."
"UNDER PROTEST" Catra throws in but DT continues undeterred
"...agreed to be a part of my Play. It's exclusively for our kind, hence the name and i can't wait to show it off"
"So... I can't come watch? If its only for Hybrids" i ask sad to think i wouldn't be able to be there
"NO! YOU CAN'T COME" Catra once again throws out and gets ignored by DT
"sure you can Adora" their Smile now a evil grin "Family and Partners are of course welcome"
