Chapter One : A Misty Memory (Edited)

"Griannn? Where are my height adding boots?"

"Stay back Scar, I claimed these! I need them more!"

"Grian! Hand them over!"

"Nah, oh thank god parrot! Protect me!"
Grian ran behind a tall parrot statue someone gave him as a prank, which he hadn't taken down yet.

A shining, enchanted bow came into Scar's grip.
A small smile grew on his face.

"Are we playing hide and seek?"

Grian froze. Scar's voice seemed eerily familiar.

"S-Scar?"

"hOtgUy!"

"AHH"

Grian respawned in Scar's amusement park, and pulled out his communicator, telling Scar to bring his stuff over.

"You idiot!"

"I'm sorry Grian! It was an accident!"

A small grin grew on Grian's face.

"Revenge!"

Grian picked up a metal pole he had in his enderchest (for some reason) and held it like he would a sword.

"Grian! It was an accident!"

But he wasn't listening. It looked as though his mind was somewhere else.

Grian knocked Scar over, a small bruise appearing on Scar's head, before putting Scar out of his misery, and hearing him respawning behind him, gasping in fear.

Grian looked behind him, and saw fearful eyes looking back. He took a double take, and tossed the pole away, before falling to his knees, guilt running over him.

What was that?

"Scar, I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me!"

Grian helped Scar up, and hurriedly flew away, tears falling down his face. He could only feel one thing. Guilt.

"G-Grian? Wait!"

Scar could only feel one thing too.

Forgiveness.
But he knew Grian would never accept it.

Nobody saw Grian for the rest of the day.

Three days.

That's how long Grian spent hiding in his starter base. He hadn't wanted to hurt anyone, yet Scar's panicking expression kept coming back to him.

What if Scar hated him?

What if Xisuma would ban him?

What if-

His communicator beeped. Several times.

Checking it, he felt the blood drain from his face.
