A week had passed with nothing from her boys which was odd in itself. She debated getting a new phone in case something was broken but it worked just fine when Jo messaged or called her. Adri just decided nothing was wrong and she didn't need to worry. Of course, she still did but she was too busy to allow that to cloud her mind. Finally, on Tuesday, she woke to have three voicemails from the Winchester boys. She got dressed and put them on play as she cleaned the bar for opening. Due to the bar staying open from 3 in the afternoon till 3 in the morning that week, Adri had slept dreamlessly for four hours. She was exhausted of course but she was not unfamiliar with that feeling and knew how to cope.

"Adri, I have a bad feeling about what will happen to Jess and Sammy. I was calling to ask about some coordinates but I'll call you later. I'm turning back to talk to him. I've just got a bad feeling. Talk to you later princess." 'Coordinates?' She wondered what coordinates but figured he'd explain later. "Next message." She muttered to no one.

"Adri, It's Sam. Jess is dead. The demon that killed my mother killed her tonight. I could use some of your cooking and a hug. I miss you Adri. I'll talk to you later." The glass she was cleaning fell from her hand to the floor, shattering around her feet. "I saw her. She was fine when I saw her. How could I not see her die?" Adri muttered. She looked down and realized she was surrounded by broken glass.

"I won't be any help if I'm breaking. I need to focus on." She took a deep breath and slipped her ring off. "Fix yourself until you're perfect." She muttered. Usually, she waved her hand with an image in mind to fix broken things but she had recently discovered that command would work as well. Besides, shaky hands could make everything worse. After the glass mug was fixed, she picked it up and cleaned it again, allowing the next voicemail to play.

"Hey Princess, so we stuck around Sam's place for the past week but now we're headed to a motel over in the next state. You're probably asleep so I'll call you later and ask about the coordinates then. Sweet dreams princess." When Jo walked in, Adri still had the blush plastered on her face. Along with the smile she only got from Dean.

"Well someone's happy. How'd you sleep?" Adri had swept the bar and was just putting chairs down when she responded.

"I got a voicemail from Dean and he's ok. Both boys are okay." She smiled and kept putting the chairs down.

"Well of course they are. You said they're some of the best hunters out there." Jo put her elbow on Adri's shoulder. "Especially if they've got you looking out for them. You've been trained since, like, birth." Adri chuckled at that.

"Technically only since I was eight. Bobby wouldn't let me anywhere for three years though. Something about needing to properly be able to 'kick butt'." Jo laughed.

"Anyway, mom said we're opening in an hour. I can take over here if you want to go start cooking."

"Is this because you want to hear hunters' stories?" Adri teased the younger girl.

"Maybe. Don't tell mom." Jo pleaded. Adri smiled, thinking back to when Bobby treated her like Ellen treated Jo. It was when she was seven years old, wanting desperately to keep other kids from becoming like her. She knew Jo just wanted to be like her father.

"Of course not, but you better help me when I have to profile for my Daddy's case." Adri bargained and Jo jumped with a squeal.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Shhhh, you want your mother to kill me?" But regardless, the girls smiled at each other. They began preparing for the shop to open. Adri began prepping the kitchen and had a small vision that there would be a need for certain foods. She made salads up and her famous cinnamon apple slices, made hot burger patties, chicken nuggets, and fries.
