Once Adri finished fixing Lily's dress, she gave Donna her condolences and left to stand by the impala. In her head anger, guilt, and loneliness whirled around. She was angry about her father, guilty for blowing up at her boys, and lonely in her secret. Adri wanted to tell Sam and Dean about the events of the past few weeks. Especially about her father. But she knew she couldn't. She shouldn't. If they were to lose focus, they may not find John in time. Adri leaned against the impala and caressed her necklace. Unbeknownst to her, her eyes subtly glowed a golden hue. She stared up into the sky, stuck in a trance. Her hands went limp as her mind drifted into a vision.

Sam and Dean snuck up into the bathroom Mr. Shoemaker died in. Dean sauntered in while Sam crouched to get a closer look at the dried blood on the floor.

"The Bloody Mary legend...Did Dad ever find any evidence that it was a real thing?" Sam questioned, eyebrows furrowed in thought.

"Not that I know of," Dean responded.

"I mean, everywhere else all over the country, kids will play Bloody Mary, and as far as we know, nobody dies from it." Sam continued, thinking through the conundrum aloud.

"Yeah, well, maybe everywhere it's just a story, but here it's actually happening." Dean offered.

"The place where the legend began?" Sam asked. Dean shrugged and opened the medicine cabinet.

"But according to the legend, the person who says B—"Sam looks at the medicine cabinet mirror, which now faces him, huffed, and closed it. "The person who says 'you know what' gets it. But here—"

"Shoemaker gets it instead, yeah."

"Right."

"Never heard anything like that before. Still, the guy did die right in front of the mirror, and the daughter's right. The way the legend goes, you know who scratches your eyes out." Dean stated, running a hand through his hair.

"It's worth checking in to."

"Yeah, we can do that back at the motel. Hey Sam?" Dean stopped his younger brother from leaving, finally getting a chance to continue a previous conversation

"Yeah?"

"I'm not crazy when I say Adri hasn't been acting like herself am I? It's not just me that is seeing this?"

"Nah, I see it too. I wanted to talk to her about but, well, we both saw what happened when you tried. I wonder what's happened." Sam confessed, his thoughts heavy on the girl he considered his best friend.

"Maybe something happened on her last case. Bobby said it was about pregnant women being kidnapped or something." Dean felt himself cringe. He really hoped nothing had happened and she was just going through a weird hormonal cycle.

"Well, I'll do some research and see if anything significant happened after we wrap this case up." The youngest Winchester offered.

"Okay, thanks, Sammy."

"It's Sam."

Both Winchesters hear the sound of someone walking up the stairs toward them. They quickly exited the bathroom only to accelerate running into Charlie, Donna's friend.
"What are you doing up here?" She asked, determined.

"We—we, had to go to the bathroom." Dean stuttered. He fixed his stance in an attempt to fake confidence in their reason. She didn't fall for it.

"Who are you?" Charlie persisted.

"Like we said downstairs, we worked with Donna's dad." Dean reiterated, attempting to satisfy her curiosity.

"He was a day trader or something. He worked by himself." She folded her arms and challenged their story.
