"No matter how much you fight it, you are my daughter and soon enough I'll have you again."
Lennon felt like her entire body was on fire and it was agonizing. It was as though her magic. Her chaotic magic was trying to burst out of her, no longer wanting to be entangled with the young witch. Unfortunately this wasn't the first time she had ever felt this way. The earliest she could recall was when she had the incident at school. The other time was when she visited Wally at the hospital and attempted to heal him without any knowledge or practice of even knowing how. And the last time she felt this way was when she came back from the dead.
Slowly opening her eyes, it took the brunette a moment to adjust to the darkness of the room. The only light, though very little and dim, came from a lamp that rested on the top of a dresser. That's odd. Her vision may have been blurry but she was able to tell right away she wasn't in her room. In fact she was in a room she didn't recognize. Looking down at her chest she smiled when she realized Bow was the reason her chest felt so heavy and why she was having trouble breathing. Feeling his companion awake, Bow wagged his tail in excitement. As her protector and personal demon he had failed her again. "Hey boy." Lennon cooed. Bow whimpered and nuzzled his head on her hand. He wanted to lounge at her and smother her with sloppy kisses but for now he needed to be gentle. "Where are we?" Bow barked. "We made it to his house? Really? Where are the others?" Bow barked a couple of times. "That's good. I would have never forgiven myself if something else had happened to Quinn. And what about John?"
"Right next to you trying to get some bloody sleep." The warlock groaned. Lennon looked over and saw John beside her on a small armchair. He looked like absolute shit. His hair was a mess. His tie was more loosened than normal. . He had bags under his eyes and clearly needed a shave. And if she was being honest it looked and smelled as though he hadn't showered in days. "How long have you been awake for?"
"I don't know, maybe like 10 minutes?"
"Bow you bloody beast didn't I tell you to wake me the moment she opened her eyes." Bow barked out an excuse to which John scoffed. "Damn animal." He muttered.. Bow growled and John simply sent him a glare before turning his attention back to Lennon. "How are you feeling?".
"Like shit." Lennon responded honestly.
John barked out a laugh helping the girl sit up. "Well that's not a surprise. You overexerted yourself like you always do so this was expected." He teased laughing a bit..
"John?"
"Hmmm."
"You really need a shower." The brunette expressed.
"Oi! The only reason I haven't showered was because-"
John was interrupted when the door slammed open. By the entryway stood Quinn who was on the verge of tears when she spotted Lennon. Chas who was very much alive and another man, more likely John's ex, Theodore. "Lennon!" The blonde shrieked before rushing to the brunette. "Thank god you're finally awake! You had us all worried!"
"I know. I know" The girl breathed out, patting the blonde on the back. "And I'm sorry but I'm okay. Everyone is okay, right?"
Quinn wiped the tears from her face and sat beside Lennon on the bed, lifting her leg to show her friend. "Well my leg isn't broken or mangled anymore." She beamed. "And Chas isn't sporting a large gaping hole in his body."
Lennon laughed. "I can see that."
"Well now that you're awake and well I'd like you to meet Theodore. Theodore Edwards."
"Ex boyfriend." Quinn whispered, making the brunette snort.
"Theodore, this is Lennon. Lennon Castellanos-Queen."
