We're leaving today - Part one

Y/n pov

I wake up at the lack of human warmth at my side before i remember that it'll be almost a whole day until i get to see her. but i get to see her walking down the aisle in a beautiful dress on Asgard. I look at the clock and see Loki's coming to get me in thirty minutes. Well, it'll be a few minutes for me, hours for her.

"Good morning Y/n, today is the big day" Loki's voice says as he enters the room and i pull the cover over my face.

"Morning Loki" i say, taking the covers off my gaze and seeing the spring sunshine through the window. Loki has pulled the curtains aside to let it shine in.

"We're leaving in thirty, so if you want to eat normal food before we go, do that now"

"I want real food, Asgardian food at least tastes something" that is one of my favourite things about Asgard. The food there tastes, even for me. It actually makes me full. much better than blood, well Asgardian blood is also good but the food is better.

"Good, then grab your bags and put on some clothes, then meet me on the roof"

"Will do" and with that he's out the door again. I get up and grab my bag and get out. Wanting to get away from here the faster the better. So i go through the kitchen, grab an apple on the way, before continuing up on the roof.

"You're early" Loki says as i get out of the elevator.

"Jupp, and there is someone else coming too, so we'll have to wait a little more" i say and Sam appears from the stairs in a gasp for air.

"Who are we waiting for?" Loki asks, directing his attention back to me.

"A surprise and Pepper Potts" i answer and they both look at me.

"I thought she said she couldn't make it" Sam says, putting down his bags.

"I guess she had a good enough reason to come with. And a little help from me" but they don't ask about the second person i mentioned. The surprise that i know is standing in the shadows of the stairs, waiting to the last second to come up.

"Is that all that you're bringing?" Sam points to my only little bag.

"I already have stuff there, since my room havn't been reused for anyone else" i say, looking at Loki who nods. "So i don't need more and Wanda has my dress" The elevator pings  and opens to show a woman with her hair in a ponytail, taking serious steps towards us. With Bucky by her side in a smile.

"We're not late, are we?" she asks and i shake my head in a 'no'.

"You're perfect, but i genuinely thought you could join the later group" i say, picking up my bag that i had placed down at some point.

"I just got out of bed. If i had started the day, i wouldn't have come"

"Understandable, i was the same when i had a job at Seattle Grace in the 70s as a surgical intern"

"You're a surgeon?" Both Sam, Pepper and Bucky ask in union.

"Yes i was, now can we go or else we'll be there at the same time as the others. And Tony is waiting" i answer, looking back at Loki as i let out a small whistle. And a woman emerges from the stairs, dressed simple but fashionably and with an almost smaller bag than me. Her blond hair is let out over her shoulders.

"Who's she?" Bucky asks as i take a hold of Loki's hand. Sam taking mine, Pepper taking his and then bucky. No one wants to hold Loki's hand apparently.

"My surprise" i answer with a smile as Yelena comes up to us with a smile of her own. Taking Loki's extended hand. Can't blame the others for not taking that place, they don't know him like i do and Yelena doesn't know him at all. Maybe that's for the best. Before the beam of light takes us off earth i take one last look over the city. We'll be gone for months, meaning that when we come back. The process will have speed up.
