Sleep? No, there was too much to talk about. I wasn't sure how long this car ride was going to be, but it was sure to be long... and interesting.

I realized I was too awake to fall back asleep now and this was as good a time as any to hang out with Niall before he went back on tour. I realize that Niall and my relationship is moving a little bit fast but that's because we've practically been together for two years without realizing it. We already know everything there is to know about one another and we were past that "awkward stage" that everyone complains about in relationships.

"Are you hungry?"

"Niall! We just left not even five minutes ago!"

"Sorry."

"It's okay." I turned the radio up and pressed the scan button in the car until I heard a familiar song.

I'd catch a grenade for ya,

Throw my hand on the blade for ya,

I'd jump in front a train for ya,

Ya know I'd do anything for ya.

"Niall, sing. GO!" I yelled.

"No! How about you sing?"

"How about no!"

"Party pooper!" he whined after I turned the volume down.

"Yeah whatever," I giggled, rolling my eyes.

I looked out the window. All I saw was green, green everywhere, it was beautiful: the plants, the trees, the grass.

"Tell me about your tour," I said, abruptly.

"We'll it's almost over. The lads and I just have a few weeks left in the east of the United States."

"Are you excited?"

A huge smile appeared on his face. "Oh yeah. Being on the stage is my favorite thing in the world! It's just, you can't even explain the feeling you get when you're standing in front of thousands of people, and that's my job!"

"I'm proud of you Niall," I said genuinely.

There was a small silence. We reached a stoplight and the car came to a halt. Niall quickly leaned over and kissed my cheek. "Thanks."

The conversation went from serious to stupid in a matter of seconds. Leave it to Niall.

"What's a Michigan?"

"Excuse me?"

He looked over at me innocently, like it was the most normal question in the world.

"Michigan, the state Michigan?" I questioned.

"Ohhh, yeah, a state. I knew that."

"Whatever you say." I rolled my eyes. "What cities in the east are you going to be in?"

"Some cities in New York, some in Pennsylvania, a few in Maryland, maybe."

"Okay, have you ever been to any of those cities?"

"A few, Philadelphia and Manhattan. I remember the food being good in Philadelphia and Manhattan was really big!"

"Yeah, I've been to both of those cities." I trailed off.

I looked down at my phone, seeing a message from Emma and my mom. I quickly replied to both and looked back at Niall. He was concentrating on driving and his face was scrunched up a bit, but I could still see he clear blue eyes that made me melt. I could tell that he knew I was staring at him because he let a small smile form on his lips as his eyes quickly darted over at me. He quickly concentrated back on the road, however.
