Jet pt2

"Aang leave me alone please," I begged. "I just want to read my book."

"But I'm bored, why can't we do something?" He grumbled hanging from a tree branch."Hey, Dee watch this."

He jumped off the tree and sprinted straight for another one in front of us and ran up the trunk. He did a pretty impressive backflip off and landed in front of me.

He's been annoying me like this all day I guess it was cause Sokka wasn't here to entertain him. He went off on some mission with Jet. I was offered to join them but I wasn't really feeling up to it.

"That was great Aang," I say not looking up from my page.

"Come on Dee." Aang pleaded "Let's do something fun."

"Why don't I teach you how to use a bow and arrow," I say shutting my book.

"That's boring why can't you teach me how to do a flip or something?" He groaned.

"Because unlike you I'm not an airbender that can catch myself if I start tumbling off the side of the tree house." I joke.

"Fine I'll try it," he grumbled.

"Ok so just how I taught you to breath then let go." I say.

Aang took a deep breath in, and as he let it out, he let go of the arrow, blasting it through the trees. It went faster than any normal arrow.

"Did you see what I did there I used my air bending to make the arrow go faster." He said smiling at his work .

Katara joined us and was sitting making some sort of funny hat and just nodded.

I looked at Aang. "That was cool I've never seen an arrow go that far before" I say causing Aang to smile even more.

"But it would be great if you hit the target." I say motioning to the target I set up.

"Oh yeah." He chuckled.

Just then Sokka came through the floor on the ropes.

"Sokka! Dee taught me how to use a bow and arrow." Aang said.

"Cool." Sokka replied not giving him much thought.

"Sokka! Don't be rude Aangs talking to you." I say irritated seeing Aang was upset.

"I reapplied, didn't I?" He huffed.

"Hey, Sokka. Is Jet back?" Katara questioned.

"Yeah, he's back. But we're leaving." He said heading to our tent.

"What?" I ask.

Katara stood up. "But I made him this hat." She holds up a cap made out of stitched leaves with a flower on top.

"Your boyfriend Jet's a thug." Sokka stated.

"What? No, he's not." Katara argued.

"He's messed up Katara."

Aang stepped in. "He's not messed up, he's just got a different way of life, a really fun way of life." He said.

"He beat and robbed a harmless old man!" Sokka said. That took a turn.

"I wanna hear Jet's side of the story." Katara said walking to Jets tent with Aang following.

I know Sokka doesn't like Jet but I don't think he'd lie especially about something like this.

Sokka started to walk to the tent to but I pulled him back by his arm causing Sokka to stop.

"Sokka are you sure?" I ask.
