               Song ~ Air plan mode

*DEE'S POV*

We landed at a big lake Aang said he wanted to practice more water bending movements but so far he hasn't been near the water.

We had set up camp and I was reading my book I was about halfway through the main character had just fought with one of his friends and now he was lonely. Poor him.

Sokka was getting us dinner ..well he was trying. There was a fish nearby and he's been try to grab it for the last 5 minutes failing each time.

"He's taunting me." He yelled. I smirked to myself this was the funniest thing I've seen all day.

"Why don't you use your fishing pole instead of your hands." I suggest smiling.

"Yeah I guess." He say's going to to get his fishing pole from his bag. He comes back with his fishing pole in his hand. He set up nearby and attempts to cast the pole into the water but it was unsuccessful.

Sokka Observes the fishing pole "Hey, where's the fishing line?" He asked.

Aang looked up Sheepishly "Oh, I didn't think you would need it, Sokka." He holds up a beautifully woven necklace decorated with a red flower.

Sokka stomps over annoyed "Aw, it's all tangled!" He groaned upset.

"Not tangled. Woven!" Just then Katara came back with fire wood. "I made you a necklace, Katara." He turned to face Katara grinning "I thought since you lost your other one ..."

He stopped and held the necklace up to show her. Smiling she approached him. "Thanks, Aang." She took the necklace. "I love it."

"Great, Aang. Maybe instead of saving the world, you can go into the jewelry-making business." Sokka said sarcastically.

I went back to my book not paying attention to them anymore but I can't get Zuko out my head I didn't get much sleep last night cuz all I could think about is how badly I wanted to forget everything.

"Move over" Sokka said abruptly out of nowhere. He was dripping wet with water.

I smile up at him "only if you say please" I say looking down at my book .

"Please" he say meekly. I nod and scootch over for him. "Where's dinner" I ask jokingly.

"I almost had it!" He fussed.

"You'll get it next time" I say. I keep reading my book but I feel eyes on me. "Sokka what" I look up at him and there he was. "Do you have a staring problem?"

"No! I-I just Zoned out ok" he said. Me and him had gotten close over the few days he doesn't really bother me as much as he used to. I still haven't told them that much about me yet.

"Someone's being attacked by a platypus bear!" What. I get up quickly to see Sokka following behind me.

And there it was the 6 foot ferocious creature with thick dark brown fur, the body and head of a bear, the tail and bill of a platypus. The platypus bear stands up on its legs and swings at a man who was acting suspiciously calm.

With his hands behind his back the man somehow manages to avoid the bear's swing by calmly stepping backward.

"Is he ok?" I whisper to Sokka. He shrugged from beside me.

"I don't think so" he said confused.

"Well, hello there!" the man said dodging another swift swing of the bear's claws.
"Nice day, isn't it?" He said cheerfully.

Well all ignore his calmness and gave ideas to help him.

"Make noise! He'll run off!" Aang shouted.

"No, play dead! He'll lose interest!" Sokka suggested getting closer to the man. The bear swings its claws only to miss striking the man once again.
